I just read this entire post and hearing the back story and seeing the pictures, it actually sent chills down me. I think this is an awesome project and the pictures of ur progress look very good. will be very anxious to see the end result in 2019. And that being the 50th anniversary is definitely the way to do it.

Ya know, I built a Matchbox A7 several years back and I was impressed how much fun and good looking the model turned out for being very basic

Well Darren, you can never go wrong with the Phantom, even if it is a Revell kit. She looks beautiful and I cant wait to see your other Phantom builds!

Hey all, I am an aircraft and armor builder; however, I just purchased my first Heli to build. I chose the 1/35 scale Kitty Hawk AH-6J Little Bird. I was wanting to get feed back from anyone who has built this kit or at the very least built a Kitty Hawk kit. Looking at the model, it appears very detailed and also came with photo etched. U gotta love the Phantom!!! I know I do... Great builds and the paint job looks flawless... How did that 32nd scale kit go together anyway? Revell can be hit or miss??..
