New 1/48 A-6 Intruder Decals - Vietnam Pt.2 & Libya / Iraq
azzaob replied to ziggyfoos's topic in Jet Modeling
Agree great news. -
They are in set #ED648094 Matt. Look very well detailed http://www.eduard.com/store/out/media/648094.pdf
-
They are even very quick using the new cheaper international option to New Zealand. Wish Squadron would follow suit.

Italeri have announced a re-release of sorts of the Destroyer in their 2016 kit preview, so perhaps this may stir up a bit more interest in some alternative markings?
-
I bought a Su-24 cockpit from them in late 2015, took about three weeks to New Zealand. I seem to recall reading on other forums that there can be delays with delivery from Neomega, but it does arrive. HTH

Here is another, but the wheel bays are not visible.

I do not know if this is what you are after, but here is the best pic I have managed to track down of what I think is an in-service SMT? Aaron

Picking this correction set will be a nice little seller - please make lots of castings. I will be in for one of each [bN/ML] at the least :) Good news!

The B-1B sheet arrived today, very good service and wonderful decals. Bring on the 1/72 sheet :)
-
Great choice..the Academy/Hobbyboss kit decals are hardly inspiring. Looking forward to this. You are beginning to corner the 1/48th SAC decal market :):):)

Are we NEVER going to see a new-tool B-1B Lancer in 1/72???

Good news on the Barracuda resin! Caracal's Bone decals are on their way to me, from the pics he has posted they look top notch. Cannot wait :) -
Looks impressive!!!, cannot wait to see them in the flesh, just got the shipping confirmation from Paypal - the Bone sheet is on its way to the Land of the Long White Cloud :) Cheers

The Barracuda resin looks very nice [in 1/48th], and I know Caracal decals intends to bring out his new Bone decals in 1/72 at some point. I haven't really seen any aftermarket stuff in 1/72 for the Revell kit [beyond some decals for silly money on Ebay] over the last few years. I only have some resin ACES seats and those Cutting Edge decals available on Dave Klaus's site for my two in 1/72. Would like to get featherless cans at the least. Revell Germany re-release probably would be more likely than a new-tool, but you never know. Two years ago who would have thought their would be newly-too -

Agree, with the interest still around for the 1/48th Bone, and the recent Barracuda upgrades for the Revell kit, it would be nice, as a first step to see some resin/aftermarket for the 1/72 kit at the least: exhausts, intakes, etc...? -
Great news :) Cheers, Aaron

Nice pair of Phantoms!!!
-
Yep, my Javelin has them too.
-
Great news, one can never have enough Deuce [or Six] decals :)
-
Thanks for taking the time to share this, very interesting to see the process of how the master is made up. Cheers

Verdict on accuracy and fit of the new 1/48 Kinetic Super Etendard
azzaob replied to tko24's topic in Jet Modeling
Agree 100%, the recent MiG-31/Su-33 releases seem to have drawn all the attention. Looks like a very nice kit, just glad I didn't shell out for the very expensive Heller Afghan boxing last year :) -

The only build I have across is here https://www.facebook.com/yasutaka.otsuka?fref=nf but there is little commentary. The instructions are online and show a standard side to side fuselage rather than the more modular Heller offerings http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/image/10352193z2/70/2 HTH -
Is there a second set of B-1B decals in the pipeline? Cheers, Aaron

Just ordered mine last night, cannot wait :)
