Home made decals done Decal paper from an Aussie online store. They are super thin. Laser printed. Only applied one side. I cant find enough images to show if they were on both sides or not?

I'm calling this one about finished

Hi Pete Resin is far smoother than the usual filament printing. All it got was a very light sanding and a coat of rustoleum primer

Does this count as space 🙂 I don't know why but I seem to have a thing for things that go boom PS 3D printed on Anycubic Photon Designed on Fusion360

Mines in my garage. Plenty of ventilation out there. Nice mod

All 3d printed on an Anycubic Photon. Best bang for buck resin printer out there. Most of the resin printers for home use have very similar specs. But the Photon is 1/2 the price of the next. There are on going costs with DLP printers. Obviously resin at $AU80ish per litre. LCD screens are consumable. Part of the cost of using UV to print (it destroys the LCD over time) I use Fusion360 software. It's free for home modelers and pretty easy with heaps of online tutorials

Here is my latest effort at 3D printing. I've been doing it 6 months 1/72 Falcon 1 from photos
-
All piping I added. But rescaling the 3d printed ones would be a better option with some modification

Real patches Pete

Then there are 3d printable engines on Thingiverse

Scored this today at a pawn shop.

I bought the Apogee F1 and used the Dragon F1 parts to build a more realistic F1 5 hybrid Saturn F1 engines by Peter Ede, on Flickr

Actually no I was wrong. Will be near 300mm 30 cm
-
If interested I am currently working on the Falcon 1 at 1/72. (in resin) It'll be approx 130mm tall x 24mm dia. Falcon 9 is a bit beyond me for the moment

Buzzspacemodels produce finished or kits. these are resin models.
-
Will do. Needs refinements and just changed resin. Need to dial in the printer
-
Is this the one off Thingyverse? There's a SaturnV with LUT at 1/60th easy to upscale
-
Ditto. their claims to be better than the flimsy Photon are an exaggeration. Nothing flimsy about the Photon at all. On the weekend people were talking about how often the clean up/re level etc. The numbers were staggering for continuous print without cleanup or re leveling. It seems once dialed in on a particular resin the Photon just goes and goes. Like the ever ready rabbit. Save a 1000 and buy a Photon. Remembering they all have consumables. If I was to buy another printer at that price it would be the Peoply Moai. Support for DLP/SLA in Slic3r might be the only good thing to
