Thanks Jennings and Dutch i found a colour pic finally of the aircraft i'm building it shows the front part of the pylon clearly is silver so i am going to assume the pylon is that colour from front to back Lee

Hi everyone, Just a quick question regarding the engine pylon colour on a DC-9-31 as i am building Kurt's wonderful resin kit it will be Ansett "Delta" livery from the 80's but i cant find a single colour pic of an Ansett aircraft from above or below to confirm the colour i should spray in this area i'm assuming it's left natural metal i only have a black and white photo of a factory new aircraft from below and it looks like it's a couple of different shades of metal so i'm a little confused.
