Good question! I am not very much familiar with Cold War Russian aviation, so any 'experts' can try sort it out for me... I was thinking of 3 options: 1. 'Kill' markings of US recon baloons 2. 'Kill' markings of this pilot from WW2 or Korea (USAF pilots did it in Vietnam on their F-4s) 3. Just a mistake from the kit company. After all, the only other option I had was red 02, which was the only decal beside the stars, so I opted for blue 28...

C'mon guys, for her first effort... I think it's great! It's an F-16 after all... A little artistic freedom can be exuced for a beginner, don't you think? Sunshine, don't give up! :( :)

Now that I've completed my Su-9 (check it in the Critiques Corner), I have put together all the things I need to start this GB! Wish me luck on this one, as PE cockpit looks rather difficult to build.

I finally made it. The model is Kopro (ex KP) in 1/72 scale. As it seemed easy to build in the beginning, it provided me a lot of bumps until finish. But hey, we're model builders not LEGO assemblers. This was also my first try at NMF. I used Tamiya Aluminium spray for the base colour and ModelMaster Aluminium metalizer for brighter areas. I hope you like it...

Lights, Lights, Lights.... Emirates A330 passing us 300m higher And the same plane on our 9 o clock. Unfortunately none of the photos really show how close we really were to that plane...

The weather got clear and we arrived into an unusually beautiful day for England - the time was 1900, temperature 26C and QNH1028 England's countryside in late afternoon This bugger triggered our TCAS alert with a bit too high rate of climb and "underflew" us 300m below... Landing at London Gatwick, RWY08R; anyone else noticed sheep??? Crowded Gatwick terminal Thomas Cook Boeing 757-200 On taxiing back I notice this monster - a hybrid between 747-300/400 and DC-10 Lined up, RWY08R and ready to go! A true poetry above a gentle layer of clouds in the sunset... And th

This week I had a privilage of a ride in the cockpit of Adria Airways CRJ200 (S5-AAI) from Ljubljana Int'l to London Gatwick and back. Photos were taken with Nikon D70, borrowed from a friend with a 18-55mm lens and it was my first time experimenting with manual functions of this camera. Of course all the photos were taken through the cockpit canopy and I also had problem with flying towards London to the west in the afternoon with the sun being constantly somewhere between 11 and 1 o clock... And I wasn't allowed to use flashlight due to safety reasons. Here's a small report from this flight.

Hey Laurent! Yeah, I plan to build all 3 of them - 7, 9 and 11... Have to buy 11 though... Oh and this baby is almost finished. Expect photos in the Critiques corner in a few days.

looks great Raymond! I like that you keep your spirits high and overcome the problems you encounter - that's the true spirit of a modeller! Can't wait to see it finished!

Actually this is not Su-34 prototype, but the Su-27KUB - naval trainer and perhaps attacker as well
