  1. I’m looking for a new compressor, and seeking recommendations. I’m interested in a small unit with variable air pressure and quiet operation.  My budget is $400. Anything less is helpful.  Im not up to current models or trends with regards to compressors so any suggestions, tips, and reviews help.

  2. Thanks for the replies. I didn’t realize it was so convoluted. I have the Eduard Royal Class Bf 109F and was hoping I could squeeze out a G-2 instead of two Fs. Fw 190s are more up my alley; 109s are muddy water. 😄

  3. Eduard SMT ProfiPACKs are on eBay frequently.  Better out of box decals, and PE details. I purchased the SMT kit while in Prague the month it came out. I highly recommend the Eduard boxing over the Revell (without having seen the Revell kit).

  5. Cargo has too much money in it, and too much potential, to be sacrificed for more passengers.  They’ll definitely go for some cargo space in the design. As for performance, they’ll design the fuselage around it’s mission, design wings to maximize lift and minimize drag, then pick engines from the big 3 to power it and certify it. And as with the 757 and 777, it will probably be able to fly on a single engine to the moon. 😁

     

    I don’t follow this closely but it will be interesting to see what they come up with. 

  6. 747 is obviously Boeing’s most beautiful airplane. 😏

     

    But, for the same reasons of CASM, 757s are being replaced by smaller narrow bodies with longer range than previous generations. The A321 even carries a similar number of passengers as the -200s. 

     

    If Boeing is looking to fill a “Market Gap” between the 737-8 Max and 787-8, it’s only because the 787s are competing with and replacing their own 767s (capacity) and (older) 777s (capacity/range), creating the “Gap” they want to fill.   The 757 capacity/range replacement will leapfrog the A321 by a generation. Hopefully Boeing capitalizes.  

  7. I think it hasn't been necessarily proven either way, whether it was yellow or white. I think most people accepted it as white. That doesn't mean that yellow is wrong. Build it how you want it to be!

  8. Great info. Thank you everyone. I didn't anticipate Russian colors being such a hurdle. I'll start with the FS numbers recommended by GWH. Model Master is easiest for me to obtain. If it doesn't turn out, I'll go for Mr Color. Thanks!
