  1. Thanks guys, hope you like them. I have a soft spot for these Brit 'heavies'. To Phantom, wow, thanks for the info! Yes i didnt realise the maple was too 'new school' haha. cheers! Oliver
  2. Hey Ross Yeah the magazine is called Flightpath. Thanks for the great background info! Refuelling Lancs aren't exactly common knowledge, hahaha, at least not to me! Doing these illustrations opened up my eyes to variants other than the standard bomber! Cheers!! O
  3. Wow! PURE AWESOMENESS (stealing a quote from a certain well know martial arts Panda), good to see your work recognised! The comission for a full size painting is indeed icing on the cake! :)
  4. Hi all Just wanted to share my latest work with you guys! Some conjectural schemes (of course) of Tiger Force of the Royal Australian Air Force of World War 2. This group was meant to target Japan with strategic bombing, hence heavies like Lancs and Lincolns. There's even a Lancaster Refueling aircraft (Don't ask me how this would have worked during WW2, but one prototype was actually built for the RAF!). There were plans to rearm some aircraft with 20mm cannons instead of the .303s so some of the Lancs share the same dorsal turrets with the Lincolns. Thanks for looking! Hope you like them!
  5. Wow! Lovely weathering, esp on the Astute!! good job!!!!

    lost part

Sorry I dont have the part in question, but you can always order a spare. I know that certain Japanese internet mail-order places have this service. You may have to buy the whole sprue though. Hope this helps! PS or you can display the zero in a 'being serviced' diorama!
  7. Hi Friends! Does anyone have any info abt why the new predators seems to have cut-outs on the tail planes? When did this happen? Also there seems to be a new vertical stabilizer under the mid section of the fuselage, what's with that? What else do I need to know to update the current 1/72 models out there? Thanks in advance! Oliver
  8. I just discovered this guy's work on youtoob... thought I'd share it with you guys. The stop motion is excellent, he really has a feel for the action and lighting. I think he overlays the animation with existing sound effects or even whole sound clips from different anime. Some of it is hilarious! http://www.youtube.com/user/proxyXIII#p/c/71E069A1FB616846
  9. Sorry Lukas, The thing with these 'occasional' releases is you have to catch them as soon as they are released... or else you'll just have to wait till they re-issue it in a few years time. These older Macross kits especially! I know that some of the old 'Dougram' series is being re-released now, so if you're after them.... now is the time! These Dougram models have been OOP for a long time now. The other series I am waiting for a re-release is the Crusher Joe series, i loved their designs of their craft and robots etc etc.
  10. Beautiful stuff! all your extra work makes me realise how cr@p the academy kit is! hahaha anyway i'll be checking back to see more progress!

  18. Hi Lukas It's still available from a Japanese online store called Rainbow 10. Their shopping trolley is not as sophisticated as HLJ but their staff is helpful and friendly. I use them (as well as HLJ) for most of my purchases. gOOD LUCK! CIAO!
  19. No that's from the Gundam universe. Its called a M61 semovente, this 1/35 kit was released by Bandai a few years back, part of their premium 'EX' range. This tank was featured heavily in one of their CG anime short stories, a series called MS IGLOO 2. This series had 3 episodes, the second episode was the one this tank was featured. HTH!
