the indian A.F. actually uses it in combat. we are the only mission in the un that can actually go on the offensive to support local troop,so i have been told. mostly they fly overhead and reassure the locals that if the rebels attack they will be there to defend them. the guys who fly them just did a rotation so it might be some time till i get to know some of the pilots. but once they get to know you they are really cool about pictures

i got to spend the day in kigali today. the rwandans are really sensitive about pictures so all of them are through the window of my airplane. the Mi26 pilots came over to look at our plane so its just courtesy to see thiers you will notice it has the same reg as the decals in the south front kit hinds Mi26 enjoy

i saw this guy yesterday, the nice man with the ak47 AND an rpg said no pictures please,but he did let me get right up to it and walk around for a few minutes before i had to leave. there is also one in the hangar getting some maintenance. enjoy dylan out

ill do what i can,the problem is that picture taking here is forbidden so i have to take them either early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the local "law enforcement"people are not here, but having said that,i want some and a bottle of vodka can get you some pretty cool stuff here

i have put all of the pictures in a new folder and i will add more as i take them Mi8 mtv walkaround

the problem is that i cant resize them. my laptop doesn't have any photo software. but i can always link to my photobucket gallery with all of them on it linky ok lets giver a try

i'll try to get more of the cockpit bulkhead and some shots through the glass in front of the rudder pedals. also next time i will climb up top and get a few shots of the engines and transmission as well.

these might help, and yes they are crewed by Russians. we live right next door to them and spend most Saturday nights drinking vodka and singing Russian folk songs. i still might be able to get a ride sometime also
