Yes, what @phantom said. We cannot monitor the site 24/7, so when you see it report it. It sends us an email saying that it has been reported. At minimum, we can flag the spammer and prevent them from posting again. Then we can go back and delete the posts.

Just picked up the HB U-2R, what if any modifications are needed to make it into a NASA ER-2? I already have the Caracal decals. Also, besides BAM Models, does anyone make seated pilots for U-2/SR-71? I've also seen the ones on Shapeways. Thanks

If you have access to SMS paint line they also have Boeing grey. I used it recently on a P-8 build and I thought it looked pretty good

From what I have seen they are pretty much the same color, it just depends on how much of a rabbit hole you want to go down

See if there is a retirement home near you, many have Veterans' wings or something similar, you can donate them to them. Some local airports in their FBOs and such maybe interested in them as a display

Eduard is showing March for their stuff. The wheels are the same between the A and B, I am going to use Eduards As. There are a few masks sets out there for the B. I plan to use the Eduard A set for everything but the canopy. The canopy is different in the two kits. The cockpit is also different and the A cockpit would not fit in the B.

I am building the Eduard kit and wanted to do the orange and white scheme. Eduard shows one wing being white, which also shows in the picture from the Smithsonian, but I can't find anywhere else that shows this. Cutting Edge decals show just white on top and bottom. I noticed the Eduard has the horizontal stabs white but the museum pictures shows them orange. So is this a correct scheme?

Be careful purchasing the mask from Amazon. When we purchased some from Amazon for work, many were knockoffs. For something important to your health, you may want to go to Lowes, Home Depot etc. Take a look at the masks there and see which one will fit your face the best. Respirators come in a variety of sizes and shapes. Also, as others have said, make sure you have the correct filters on the masks. It depends on the type of paint you are spraying. I was just in Tucson and went to Pima while I was there. All I can say is wow. We spent nearly 4 hours there and didn't even see everything. I'd say it's worth seeing if you have the opportunity. Plan on a lot of walking etc... And to confirm, no more Boneyard tours. Although when we departed TUS we turned and flew right over the base, we got a great view of the base.
