With Hasegawa about to re-pop the Lear kit, is anyone out there willing to 3D print the correct engines or at least the reversers 🙂 Still won't solve the window issue, but it would be a step closer... Still want to use Caracal's awesome decals

My lasted completion: Blue Angel #7 Kit used was the Meng F/A-18F Blue Angel modifications included Stop Watch, inverted oil and smoke switch in the front. In the rear I used the Hasegawa parts for a pre-acs aircraft. I also added a Go-Pro type camera in the rear. The Blue Angel and Thunderbird helmets are from Squadron, with Fightertown and Tamiya decals respectively. The smoke generator was added to the exhaust. Furball Decals were used and worked great. Just check your references, there are some small discrepancies between the instruction sheets and real-life aircraft. All

Does anyone know of a new 3D-printed NF-104 conversion out there? It seems like with all that is being done, maybe someone would do one, especially with the newer Kinetic kits out.

So my understanding of the kit is that you can build block 30/40/50, but can you do a Block 52? I read that Block 50/52 are the same, just the engines are different, but both sets of parts are in the kit. I want to do Thunderbird #7/8 ?

I'm sure someone will comment on the cost of kits...

I believe that Flying Leathernecks bought Steel Beach's vinyl line and will be releasing them in the near future.
