  1. Good to know. So should I buy only resin nozzles and that is all, may I build Bravo?
  2. And what about exhaust bracelets (I dont know what is the proper name for that parts), where exhaust nozzles are embeded? There are different for A and B/D engines.
  3. Very detailed inbox: https://www.facebook.com/scalescriber/posts/pfbid02r1njqVCmJtRxPHjz36hownaBTSGXGcuFjgdZZxkMmu1znaoKaAoN7LJtfp4jYcLal
  4. Ok, so I will use station 4 only for that Sparrow or leave both empty. Thanks.
  5. Ok, I got it. So just to be sure: that picture's plane has 3 colour scheme: FS36375 on the bottom, FS36620 on the side of forward fuselage, and top is painted with FS35237?
  6. But not on station 5? So there is only station 4 left.
  7. That painting is a little bit different from the pictures of real F-14B - the side, darker colour of grey is on the whole sides of cockpit. On the pictures that darker color ends at RIO ejection seat point.
  8. One more question: station 5 will have to be empty, but not 4? My I use there Sprarrow missile?
  9. Thank you guys. Next step: masking and preshading for second camouflage colour. It is really hard work, because camouflage layout on thet plane is just a nightmare. But I made it. Also I prepared few masks for all that markings and numberts. The most challenging to design and cutt out was head of Viking. But I managed it somehow.
  10. Ok, now I see those 3 colours scheme. I think that is it. The Academy instruction is wrong.
  11. I see only two colours: darker (I believe it is 35237, the top of aircraft), and lighter FS36375 - the rest of plane.
  12. I am not a Tomcat guy, so I wish to be sure about camouflage colours (second one on the picture, number 17). According to Academy instruction manual, that F-14 is painted with 2 colours: bottom, lighter is just light ghost gray FS36375, top is darker medium gray FS35237. I can't find that those colours are correct on Cybermodeller database, so - should I use that two colours, or maybe that information from manual is wrong? Anybody can help?
  13. The weathring will be made later. 🙂
  14. Started with first camouflage colour. First preshading, then painting.

  17. Something more: AIM-9L (-M?) Sidewinder. Don't think Eduard's resin is beter.
  18. You are right, but there is no resin GBU-16 in that scale I suppose.
  19. This time I want to make it according to book.
  20. To bad GBU-31 and GBU-12 are such size different and that don't look so good on the model side by side, but what can I do?
