  1. Tamiya x-20 on a q-tip and some very gentle rubbing did the trick. Re coated the future and you cant tell it was there.
  2. Don't know if this is the correct place for this. Anyway nearly finished my sea hawk and I have gone and over sprayed white on to the dark sea grey and sky, there is a layer of future under the over spray. Before I go and muck up the whole of the paint job has anyone got any advice on removing said offending spray.
  3. Saw these in my wife's nail art box. Now have a set in my tool box, cant beat the price £1.23. Link to website http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00B2FRDPM?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00
  4. What were you using to apply the super glue?
  5. Bummer fell asleep before this re-started If its still there I'll take the 50) 1/72 Hasegawa 00451 Mitsubishi A6M2b ZERO Fighter (ZEKE) Type 21 (Had to Google it ..... lol)
  6. Great build. You might just want to check your references, but I'm fairly sure that those two little "lumps" just behind the spinner on the engine cowling are only on later marks.
  7. Not seen on of these for a while. I used to work for BAe and the building we were in was where parts for these things were built on Strand Road in Preston Lancashire. Its been demolished now. http://www.baesystems.com/en-uk/heritage/english-electric
  8. Been a while, lost my modelling room as my 84 year old mother has had to move in with us as she can no longer cope by herself. Anyway got a lick of paint on the old gall (no no not my mother).... and installed the engine with 5min epoxy as it took a bit of tweaking to get it all lined up. Not the best photographer in the world I'm afraid....
  9. Im in. Put a 1/72 Scale New Tooling Airfix Typhoon on the list of prizes.
  10. Not heard that expression in a while .................. great work so far.
  11. Oooo bet that was a bit Pinfull.......... Kits older than I am, work on the wood grain is looking good.
  12. Wow just Googled it, what a place, beats murky old Aberdeen any day. Hope you like sea food, best I ever had when I stopped off at Boeing a few years back.
  13. Oh fan dabby dosy, its another chuckywookydodah project. Always a treat to follow. :cheers:/>
