Beautifully done, those rivets look awesome in any scale. Great Job. Also, I would have to agree with you about the Blackbird being bad fool. I would love too see a 1/32 scale one on the market!

That looks great!!! I love the paint job, a matt black paint finish does sound simple, but in those photos, you can see variations in the finish, which makes it look very realistic. Great Job.

I think this plane is awesome. The paint work is so good, and I love the metal finish. I know that the Air Force aircraft are that bit cleaner, but I think that weathering makes models look so much better and more realistic, but it's so easy to over do it. I think this is spot on for a weathered F-15, I don't think you could do to much more, it's just enough. Top job What paints do you use for this build?

I love it! The attention to detail is amazing. I particularly like the rivets, and the leading edges on the wings, engine and nose of the plane. The wear and tear on the model is very convincing.

Awesome looking cat! The weathering looks spot on, and I love the carrier deck. All of the aftermarket gear has come together perfectly, no doubt a lot of work has been put into this, and for an amazing result.

Very nice clean build, with just the right amount on weathering on the belly of the aircraft.

Steve, this model is simply stunning! I've always wanted a big cat, but when I get around to it, it will be a 1/32 which is huge, I can only imagine how impressive this thing looks up close. Fantastic work, and I think the display cabinet like you're doing is the way to go, awesome way to display an awesome model!

Chuck, With the plane painted in gloss black, we can see how good your modelling is, as any imperfections are highlighted, but it just looks perfect! The repair on the nose of the plane from the glue sink holes are invisible , amazing repair job. It's going to be great to see the metal finish go on this bird, which I assume is going to be different shades of alclad. I was wondering if you had used different metalisers such as model masters, as I'm about to do some, and wanted some advice on what is the best metal paints to use, and if there's any issues with masking over finished metal pai

Jorge, Amazing paint work, the detail in this piece is is unbelievable . I love the weathering on the wing with the touch up painting that gets applied to carrier based aircraft. Can't wait to see this one come together!

I'm currently building a Tamiya F-15 c, and was thinking about an Aggressor bird. The Afterburner decals sheet 48-081, being for 1/48 scale models also had decals for 4 1/32 scale models, and is pretty hard to find, I've been looking on eBay for some time, but with no luck. Currently the decal sheet 48-007 is on eBay, but I don't think that sheet had 1/32 scale markings. If anyone has the 48-081 sheet and is willing to sell the sheet, or even just the 1/32 scale decals from the sheet, could you please let me know, and maybe I could make contact via a PM. Chuck, Your work is, as the general consensus States, simply amazing ! The fix you've done on your current build shows your skill, where I'd say, maybe not all, but diffidently me, would have tossed it in the back of the wardrobe so it never seen sees the light of day again. But you've completed a perfect fix, bravo! Maybe one day I'll look at some half finished projects and see that they are fixable. Also, I'd love to see what you could do with the F-15I, GT resin are coming out with some after market sets that would really look fantastic on a build with your attention to detail.

i've been digging through my stash of 'spare' parts and found an Aires f-14 wheel well set. For my next project, tossing up between the Tamiya F-15c, or the Tamiya F -14, To be build as a B model. I was woundering if anyone knew if the Aires set will fit the Tamiya kit as it's designed for the trumpeter kit, and the two models are constructed very differently around the intake main landing gear area. I don't anticipate any fit issues for the nose gear wells. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

In Australia it's pretty hard to find future floor polish, I think you can only get it on e bay. So I don't really use it, but I have used the micro set and micro sol, and they are only for setting the decals, not to aid in preventing silvering. I generally use an aerosol gloss spray before applying the decals.

I would hand over some hard earned $ for a 1/32 f-22. No doubt a Tamiya kit would be more detailed than a trumpeter, but there's a lot more of a chance of trumpeter bring out a kit, and trumpeter also give you the chance to do some scratch building. Now a 1/32 sr-71, now that would be a must have!

I was reasently able to purchase a cheap 1/32 Trumpeter F/A-18F super hornet. After several builds of using resin cockpits and other after market items, due to doing a bit if research of what's available on that topic in the after market world before handing over the hard earned. But I saw the cheap super bug, and thought, no doubt Aires or Avionx will have a cockpit, I now find out , none in the market! I know about the resin engines and other bits and pieces such as Rhino seamless intakes, but does anyone know if any company has plans for resin cockpits for the 1/32 scale super hornets in

Chuck, You are the master of plastic model kits! The work you're doing on your current project is amazing, and to look at the work on the a-10c and the mustang, is mind blowing. I've being watching your posts for a long time, reading about your techniques and attempting to replicate it in my own models. Although I've improved my modelling from your knowledge, seeing your work shows me how much I've got to learn! Can't wait to see more of your amazing work .

Mogin, I would also have to agree with the use of the zacto models intakes for the fix. Having used a set on a f-14 b, the detail and correct shape they bring to the model is simply amazing ! I would use a dremal drill to 'machine' the cemented intake, finishing off with files and a wet sand, and continue with the required removal of sections required to use the zacto models intakes. Being that you were able to get the kit cheep, the after market intakes mighty be a good investment. Good luck with the build.
