  1. For sale are a handful of kits from my collection. I have a move coming up in the next few months, and I would rather sell these then have to pack them up and bring them with me. All kits are open, but all are complete. Most still have sealed parts bags. Buyer pays shipping at cost, from 37643. If you have dealt with me before, you know sometimes I get behind on shipping. For that, I apologize. I can only promise that I can make it to the post office to ship every Friday. I am open to reasonable offers. Especially on multiple kits. PayPal preferred, but can work with money orders or well hidden cash if need be. 3. Edited, prices dripped on a couple! Feel free to make me an offer, especially in multiple kits!
  4. Shameless bump... I mean it, reasonable offers are more than welcome!
  5. Up for sale are a few of my kits that I have duplicates of. I just bought a new hunting rifle, and this will all be going to the purchase of a NICE scope for it. I will probably never ever get around to building these, so I want them to go to a good home instead of collecting dust in my stash. Buyer pays shipping. I am located in the US, zip code 37643. I will attempt to ship as cheaply as I can, unless you want it super fast. I can accommodate you. Prices are not exactly firm. I think these kits are priced very reasonably, but I AM OPEN TO REASONABLE OFFERS, especially if you buy MULTIPLE kits. I am motivated to sell, because the more of these you buy, the nicer scope I can purchase. So please feel free to make an offer. All kits are 1/48. These kits are opened, but all sprues are still sealed unless otherwise noted. Cyber Hobby (Wing Tech) Bf 110E-2 Trop $22 USD Hasegawa Spitfire Mk. Vb (Jt6) $13 USD Accurate Miniatures TBM-3 (USS Bunker Hill) $14 USD Otaki Bf 109G-6 $7 USD These kits are all SEALED. 6. ICM decals

ICM decals are hit or miss. There's really no rhyme or reason to if they are good or not, in my experience.

  8. Bump. Updated and prices lowered. Help me find these a new home.
  9. What'd ya see today???

Just had a flight of 7 C-130s fly over the house at about 800 ft AGL. Haven't seen that one before.
  10. OH BOY! 727HP for $39,995

    Guilty
  11. Squadron

I personally don't find Squadrons prices that bad, but their limited stock, especially the misleading "in stock soon" is rather annoying. The real deal breaker though is their shipping. Based of the amount of the order? What kind if archaic method is that? Someone could order 3 Revelogram 1/48 109s and pay the same, if not lower, shipping than some guy who ordered just 1 Eduard ProfiPack 109. Why do that when I can just click over to Sprue Brothers and they calculate the cheapest shipping for every single order, and they'll even refund the difference if they overestimate?
  12. "Heavies" GB poll

I have that kit as well! Beautiful kit. One day I will be man enough to try to tackle her... Maybe.
  13. Group Buiild Proposal

The July-January slot would work perfect for me. I'm thinking one of those newer ICM Do 215B-5s.
  14. Got a cool gift from my nephew tonight

Maybe you could talk him into mailing you one piece by piece. I once heard of some Corporal at a MASH unit in South Korea mailing an invite jeep home to Iowa that way.
  15. I have been a member here for some months, but this is the first build I have posted on here. I have been in a rut, a modeling purgatory so to speak. While I have many projects going along at some point of progress, I haven't actually completed a model 100% all the way to the shelf since early March. So I need something simple, something interesting, and most importantly, something FUN! This kit will fit the bill on all 3 fronts. So without further ado, here is the obligatory box shot. This is the 1983 boxing, so I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that the decals are still usable. Back at the first of the year, I did Tamiya's Ki-84, and was thoroughly impressed with the relative ease of build and end result. Not exactly shake-and bake like their P-51 or Wildcat, but still, it was a very fun kit. (Warning, shameless plug of a prior build) This Rufe kit is of the same pedigree as the Ki-84, and I am looking forward to putting her together.
  16. Here in Northeastern Tennessee, yesterday evening, it was $1.47 a gallon.
  17. Classic Models GB

I don't see why not. Although Aaronw has been away for alittle while now. I'm sure someone could run with this idea?
  18. NFL-2015

Patriots really ought to look at getting a RB or two this off-season. Tom is still terrific and all that jazz, but you can't ask a man approaching 40 to drop back 60+ times, get hit at least 15 times, AND have him be your leading rusher too. He's merely a mortal man.
  19. NFL-2015

Wouldn't mind seeing either win it. Fitzgerald is arguably the best receiver of this generation, plus fate owes them one from 2009. And like him or not, I thoroughly enjoy watching Newton play the game. Might be cocky on the field, but seems like a guinuinly good human being off the field. And this is coming from an Alabama fan.
  20. NFL-2015

I'm not sure, I have a good feeling about Arizona. No scientific basis or fact to back that up though. Although I feel either NFC team would be favored over either AFC team at the moment.
  21. Happy trails Hans Gruber

I'll drink to that. R.I.P sir.
  22. Adult Coloring Books vs. Modeling

I'm sure of some enterprising individual (someone with no shame of course) could develop those and make a killing. You know there would be a market for them.
  23. Adult Coloring Books vs. Modeling

    We have a winner!
