  1. I had a silent oil compressor for many years but I started getting oil in the air tank so I recently bought "Cool TOOTY' from Spraygunners for $150 through Amazon. Not the quietest but not super loud. It had good reviews. Comes with a tank attached and a water trap. 1/8' outlet. Spraygunners has lots of airbrushes and spray guns and accessories. I can hardly hear it when the spraybooth fan is running. There are other brands that look similar and are in the same price range. My friend has an Iwata which is nicer but they're up in the mid $400 range.

  7. Hi Chuck. I feel your pain! The chiropractor helped me. VERY IMPORTANT! Don't let him touch you before you get X-rays so that he can see exactly what's wrong. He can injure you more with the wrong moves. My guy gave me electrical stimulation and hot/cold therapy as well as muscle relaxers. After the X-rays he did the manipulation. There are exercises to stretch your back and be careful lifting and twisting your back. Good luck. Lou C.

  11. The museum is on New Highway just behind Home Depot on Route 110. It's in a hangar on the Northeast corner of Republic Airport. The shows are pretty good. If you have lots of extra cash you can get a ride on a C-47 or maybe another a/c. If you have the time there's also the Cradle of Aviation Museum on Museum Row in Uniondale next to Nassau Community College which is just east of Roosevelt Field. hth Lou
  12. Hi Aron. I don't have the lights to give you but it's pretty easy to make new ones. Just take a piece of clear sprue and sand one side flat and then another side flat at 90 degrees to the first. Drill a hole in one side and add clear red or blue-green and then silver for the bulb. Super glue the sprue to the wing tip and then file and sand to shape and then polish. HTH. Lou Correri
  13. Basically, just internal changes. They both have the HS prop and look the same. Lou Correri
  14. The markings are for The Millie G, Maj. Edward B. Giller, CY*G, 343rd FS, 55th FG. Blondie, Lt. Marvin W. Arthur, QP*U, 334th FS, 4th FG. Margaret/Milly, Lt. donald F. Jones, PI*O, 360th FS, 356th FG. The decals look good. ( I hope that they work!). You also get masks to do the nmf forward section of The Millie G's fuselage. HTH. Lou Correri
