The Trumpeter F-106 is very nice. Some say there are issues with the intakes not being shaped correctly, and the canopy is off too, but I like it. I got mine from a seller on the forums. Brad -

Anyone use the Aires Cockpit with Trumpeter F-106A?
Brad-M replied to Brad-M's topic in Jet Modeling
Hi, Thanks for the reply. So do I need to remove the entire pour block on the pit? I assume I need to remove all the side detail of the kit cockpit, including the two square openings to the rear of the sill on each side of the kit cockpit too? Brad -
So has anyone installed the Aires cockpit into a Trumpeter F-106A? I have both, and Aires instructions lack good pics. There are shaded areas that need to be removed, but there are areas in the cockpit that aren't asked to be removed which is puzzling. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Brad

So just to be clear, I need the Hobby Boss Mk 127 for a CT-155 correct? Brad

Thanks Guys, I think I'll go get the Hobby Boss kit and grab a set of the caracal decals. Cheers Brad

Guys, I am looking to build an RCAF CT-155 jet trainer, so which 1/48 kit do I need to use? Caracal has a nice set of decals which includes the 419 Sqn. commemorative scheme, which would make for a neat project and model. I know Airfix and Hobby Boss have kits, so I'm looking to find out which kit would be appropriate. TIA Brad

Very nice work indeed! How was the fit of the kit, especially the windscreen? Congrats on the Nats award! Brad

Nice work Stephen! Can I ask if you added any nose weight to yours? Cheers Brad

Well here I am 03 Jan and still no sighting of my Kinetic CF-188 from LM. :( I know it shipped on 16 Dec, but that's it. Hope it didn't get lost in the Christmas mail-nightmare. Brad
