  1. Geoff M, oups, i get that wrong. 😐 ... Sry sry.
  2. That over-exposure make it look too clean and bold. I would preffer some more weathering of the nozzles' interior as well.
  3. Alrighty, since this is the place for critiques, i dont like the lack of weathering. Especially the nozzles and the landing gear look respectively black and white... Reminds me of some sort of the early builds when the model was ready after the first coat of paint 🙂 Of course, it looks definitely better than my first models, but i would weather it just a hint more, at least.
  4. It's a heavy tank this platform, aint it 🙂 Man, this build is going on so wonderfully! The "Tank Odyssay". 😜 I cannot imagine what would be the situation with the shuttle's white plates coverage on the top... drybrushing or decals or some sort of texturizing or... can't wait! Let's get it on!
  5. Noice! Which is the first one and the 2nd one? 🙂 just kiddin. They look shiny and awesome!
  6. The main dark filter is on. This is just gloss laquer toned mostly with blue and a hint of black, all acryic. Now masking the light areas and painting the overall layer.
  7. Very beautiful and nicely weathered! I like it much.
  8. Awesome colors and patterns! Looks so "unusual" on the Eagle and very clean. Congrats!
  9. It's a nice abstract effect on the pics! The plane looks very strange with this camo btw, but it's good! GJ!
  10. I always wanted to see this variant modelled. So bright and colorful! Nice!
  11. Hi, Steve! Yes, a few times. I think the F-35B was first, then the Harrier, then the F-15 and the F-23... It's my approach for Have Glass, but according to how transaprent the further coats are, it can easily be adjusted to look like a normal paint. For the B-2, i'm after this kind of finish, which no doubt has some good amount of metalic shine in it. 😉 I plan to use some new paints for the first time and according to my expectations, they should make even more transaprent yet colored coats.
  12. The darker areas are with Dark Aluminium and the lighter ones are with Duraluminium:
  13. She's thoroughly Surfaced, and metalized, but could't get to catch some sunlight to take the pics after the metalizers... this is with the Surfacer only:
  14. I cannot explain the lack of the previous pics... Nonetheless, i finally weathered it to a relatively subtle degree and here are a few pics 🙂 In in-flight mode: The treatment was as follows: salt weathering; streaks and postshading along some panel edges with OPs; pin-wash here and there and mostly along the separate/moveable panels; subtle postshading with the airbrush; and partial satin lacquering. And that's it 🙂 Hope you remember the clean look and like the new weathered
  15. @Peter, thanks much! Actually it's the F-15 now on the agenda. 🙂 I finally got the inspiration to make it nicely weathered... it looked awesome like it was new and shiny, but i think it will look better with the weathering. @galfa: It's Revell's conacta clear glue. But the procedure was as follows: 1) very gently spot gluing the 4 pieces, with super glue, no strenght whatsoever, just to fix the windows on their perfectly exact places; 2) the true gluing with the Contacta Clear - it is almost like a liquid glue, so its capillary effect filled up nicely around the edges of th
  16. For that time frame it looks flawlessly built! I especially like the moderate weathering and how shiny the nozzles are.
  17. Hi Matt, hi all! 🙂 Actually, i'm still planning on the painting and in the meantime, when i was just about to start with the primer, i decided lower the landing gear for one last time before the painting and see if everything is impeccable with the retraction and the hinges of the doors. They were flawless, top notch, perfect, but..... the plane was unbalanced.... way too tail heavy 😞 That is is due to the enormous quality of reinforcements (glue, plastic, stainless steel nut) for the mounting of the pylon, which was located way behind the CG. I absolutely forgot about the added weight after
  18. Hey 🙂 I would say "nice start" but i realized it's just about the right time for painting. Btw i built this same kit some time ago... and i think you know the topic, but here is the full build video, for just in case... for inspiration, if you have the time... it's nearly an hour long. Cheerz!
  19. That's the thing i don't like so much in the modeling.... Once built, it won't look that way any more. 😐 I wish there were tiny little miniature 360-degree or panoramic cameras.
  20. Really really nice looking! The clean contrasts on these macro pics make it look like real... super real.
  21. Hi! Awesome clean finish and bright colors. Lovely!
