Hey all, Would anyone have painting instructions from either 1/72 or 1/48 monogram or Hasegawa strike eagle kits for the euro one demo bird? Looking at doing one but don't have the instruction sheet for painting and Google has nothing. Thanks.

So started some work on the Planet Hobby A-12 last night. Opened up the bomb bay and missile bay. Looking at the exhaust which is the better represented? Anigrand on left Planet Hobby on right.

I think they were on your site. At least there were a few. If you have other I'd like to a copy as well if you don't mind.

Rob, with all this talking I decided to pull the trigger on the Planet Models one tonight. I'll wait till it get here and post close up of both kits.

Rob, some very bad molds there. Mine seems pretty clear with 2 small bubbles near the back end but putty should fix that up. If I had to do it over again I think I would have picked up the Planet Models kit instead. Seems a little more detailed.

Thanks for the info Dave, so far I've been lucky, I haven't had to upscale due to my eyes. It's coming though lol. Oh and @habu2, your site on the A-12 is amazing! Some great stuff there that will help me out. Looking at the landing gear in the Anigrand kit I though there was no way that they could be that spindly. I was going to replace with A-6 gear and the nose gear of the F-14. May still do it.

@habu2, apparently the mockup airframe was taken to Fort Worth Aviation Museum to be restored and displayed.

Hey all, I picked up Anigrands 1/72 A-12 Avenger II. Interesting kit but definitely need some sprucing up. I've done a ton of Google searches on the A-12, wondering if anyone may have some hidden gems that I can't seem to find. I'm looking for close and clear pictures of the landing gear, wing folds and possible cockpit pics. I've got pictures of the main instrument panels but can't seem to find much on the consoles. Schematics would be great to as the surface detail is a bit wonky with panels being put all over and in nor real semblance of order. Any help would be

Well, seeing as I'm getting back to the hobby, I'll cut my teeth on this GB. Plans are for (hopefully) 3 builds all 1/72. 1. Trumpeter Hawker Sea Fury FB.11 for Peter Carmichael's mount in 1952. I may be using Eduard Photoech and Pavla resin on this one. 2. Fujimi AH-1J for one of a few Iranian air to air victories over either Mi-25, SU-20or Mig-21MF. not sure of any extra bits yet. 3. Either Academy A-10 with extras for the Mi-8 Killer of 511 TFS/10 TFW or Fujimi F-14 for one of many Iranain F-14A Mig/Su splashes. Not sure If I'll use bits or not.

Hey all, I'm looking to convert an AV-8A to a C and wondering if someone can give me some details on the retractable air dam part of the Lift Improvment DeviceS. Just need to know where the door was located at the front and if it was just a panel added to the belly or if it was like the rear airbrake with a door and well? Thanks.
