  2. Hi! I'm currently building Academys F-15E, and I would like to know if the F-15 has brake lines that would be useful to add to a model? I'm not that into jets as I am building mostly props, and pictures I have found of an F-15's landing gear has so far proved inconclusive. If anyone has photos and info it would be greatly appreciated:) TIA Best regards Rune Norway

    BV222

Yup, V2 wore US markings and now rests outside Trondheim city in Norway. From Wikipedia here: The V2 aircraft briefly wore US markings in 1946. Strangely the V2 aircraft had identification markings given to her from the original V5 aircraft for Operation Schatzgräber. V2 was later scuttled by the British who filled her with BV 222 spare parts from the base at Ilsvika to weigh her down. V2 was towed to a position between Fagervika and Monk's island where it is thought she now rests perfectly preserved on the seabed, owing to low oxygen levels in the water. There are plans to raise and restore
  4. Hi! Check out my article on Revells He 115C here: http://home.online.no/~ru-hau6/gallery/Pla...ery_english.htm Best regards Rune Norway
  5. Hi! Nitpicking time, but I give it a shot:-) What was the color of the internal framing on Malcolm hoods? I'm building a Mustang III in RAF service and I want some advice from you guys. Thanks in advance. Best regards Rune Norway
  6. Hi Mike! Glad you liked my model  The Jug is airbrushed with my faithful Aztek 470. Rune
  7. Hi! Here's my latest creation. It's the excellent Revell kit. It's a joy to build. It's mainly OOB. I added wighted wheels from Eduard. The decals are original from the kit. The model depicts Mike Gladych' "Pengie V" flying with 61st FS, 56 FG based at Boxted in 1945. The kit is painted with Humbrol colors. To simulate the dark blue used by the 61st FS I used Humbrol No. 181 Gloss Sea Blue. This is my first meddle into NMF (for the undersurfaces), and I tried to paint a few panels in other shades. I used Humbrol No. 11 and it turned out fairly well :D The model is weathered with pastels
  8. Great Heinkel! My favourite axis bomber :D I'm about to acquire one myself. Can't wait to read your article on MM. Best regards Rune Norway Rune's Model Pages
  9. Hi Nice Storch! I have this kit on my list. Hopefully I'll be able to finish it as good as you What paint did u use for the camo on the Storch? Best regards Rune
  10. Hi! Here's my latest model. It has taken a while to finish, but I'm happy with the result :) I added an Aeroclub white metal Mg 81Z with Eduard photoetched sights and True Details weighted tyres (a bit too weighted if u ask me:-) The decals are Italeri's, (except the swatikas from Xtradecal) and depicts a machine from 10. (Pz.)/SG3 on the Eastern front in 1944. The Stuka is painted in the standard 70/71/65 scheme using Xtracolor enamels. I also tried preshading seriously for the first time here. Although the result doesn't show clearly in these pictures, I am pleased with the result.
  11. Hi! Intrigued by my first attempts on custom decals, I came up with a question. What resolution do you make your artwork in? I've used 300dpi in Photoshop, but I hear about people printing them in 2400dpi(!) Is there a difference between the artwok dpi and the printing dpi? TIA Rune Haugen Norway
