Cobra Co. hands down. The Verlinden attempt is , err... BAD. The molding is not as crisp and the PE stuff is just not up to par. I bought the Verlinden then put it in the spares box. Was very impressed with the Cobra Co. NTS upgrade.

Very interesting. No doubt alot of folks would like to work where you do.... That is a pretty STEEP jump in price from the plain , Jane, vanilla BlackHawk up to the AF PaveHawk ! I wonder how much the AH-60 DAP 'Hawks would set a guy back ? Hehe.... Regards ; Elliott

That is turning out very nice ... Are you still going to suspend this bird by a fast rope in a diorama ? I STILL haven't started my BlackHawk. Actually I haven't built or started anything since June of last summer. Alot of woodworking projects have been taking priority !! I have been itchin' to start either my 35th BlackHawk or one of my 35th Whiskey Cobra's.... Hmmm BTW ,where was it that you had your decals made , again ? Regards.... Elliott

Have you seen the capabilities of this thing ? I sure hope Florida orders a few of these ! There was a program on the other night about firefighting that featured this helo ... don't remember which channel though ! It is capable of pumping 1000 gallons/ min with it's snorkel nozzle as well as deliver firefighters and equipment the fastest of any helo.

I hear ya ! When i poped the lid 2 years ago.... I just stared at it for a couple minutes , then proceeded to close it back up and it's been on the shelf since . When I build mine ( if I ever do ) the weapons load will be the Hellfire missiles on the right and the .50 cal on the left , minus the front doors. The rear doors should stay in place though. Mr. Floyd Werner,Jr. built this kit ( he actually flew the bird ...) and posted an article somewhere. I'll look around for it. Elliott
