  1. Great!! Please post here when they are available again for those of us who subscribe to this thread. Gene K
  2. Other photos on that site require logging in which I don't want to chance. Gene K
  3. Yup, but I hadn't heard the Phantom called "Smokey Joe" as the reviewer does. It was always easier to spot the smoke than the airplane -- just follow the trail 'till you see the white helmet ... and then pick up airplane. Camo helmets made it harder. Gene K
  4. Thanks, BoeingDriver, VERY well done. (I subscribed to your channel). Gene K P.S. The video quality is really good, but I had some trouble understanding because of audio echo. And "Smokey Joe"?
  5. I now have the Emhar kits I need, but still ;looking for the Revell repop. Gene K
  6. If you don't have one for sale but know the location of one, please post where I could get . Thanks, Gene K
  7. Definitely, Jay. Great talk going on over at BM, including excellent kit reviews and in depth real Fury info. .There you'll also find lot of great links to Tailspin Turtle's (aka Tommy Thomason) Fury motherload. Gene K
  8. Maybe you could also proof the instructions. (the kit parts are good) Gene K (lest I'm misunderstood, I really admire ZMs attention to detail, including in their instructions)
  9. Usually it's because of the differences in the engine face attached to the end of the intakes. Gene K
  10. Hopefully you'll find something good about the kit . Gene K
  11. Ah yes ... now I remember those threads - thanks, Don. Glad someone found it useful. Thanks. Yes, flew the C,D, E and Slatted E (and ferried an RF). Great airplane ... way back when! Gene K
  12. Thanks for the words, Bob, in particular about the FB groups. Sad if in fact ARC, BM, HS, LSP, Z-5, etc are "drying up" since I really enjoy the folks on those forums. The format of forums seem to be much more organized and easier to follow than the FB links I've visited ... but then, my FB experience is extremely limited. At any rate, I spend way too much time as it is on the computer, so a FB account is not in my future. Gene K
  13. Thanks for that info - makes the kit worth a second look. Have you seen sprue shots, and if so, can you provide the lin(s), please? So the question would be: does the nose fit any other 1/48 kit ... like perhaps Academy? Gene K
  14. "Some" of us don't do Facebook ... maybe more than you realize as concerns the [more mature] modelling community. That's really too bad for me since your communications are the reason I'm interested in and buy AMK. I agree totally with Red Dog as concerns the silent rational majority. Gene K
  15. Gianni, Hello from long ago. I really admire this build so far ... outstanding details. Did you finish???? Gene K
  16. Yes, I'm interested also!! I'm late to the party - excellent build, as usual for you. I have to be more vigilant ... so have checked your profile box that says "Follow Member". Gene K
  17. Gary, What needed correction on the kit's splitter plates? Just one magnificent build with an extraordinary paint job!! Gene K
  18. Good grief ... your glass really is 1/4 full ... almost. You had to resurrect the "Phantom fuselage bug"?? My ZM Phantom kit is magnificent, including the fit!!! Gene K
  19. Thanks for that link ... impressive web site! Gene K
  20. Good info, as usual, Ben. Thanks. Gene K P.S. I like your Profile picture ... memories of Chicago?
