  5. Nah, its like a Ford end of line dealer special where they tart up the old model with a few mod cons to milk the market a litt;e longer. To be honest considereing the Raptor is coming to an end, you would have thought Boeing would started working on desent revamp of the Eagle to have something to offer the USAF, JASDF, IADF and RSAF as a replacement for their early model Eagle interceptors. Afterall in 30yrs you would have thought they could have sorted out a wing design that would enable the outer pylons to be used !!!! G

    F-111K

The F-111K data in Don Logans book came from Joe whoose MSN website Dave Flemming posted. The F-111k breakdown in the book and one the website clearly shows the differences between the the F-111K and the USAF versions. The Airframe was basically the standard USAF F-111A modified to meet UK needs, the Undercarriage came from the FB-111A to cater for the heavier weights expected. The Bomb bay was adapted to act as a fuel tank whan required and had a basing structure added to allow a weapons pylon to be fitted to the centre line of the bomb bay when used as a fuel tank. Radios and some Avioinic
  8. Picked it up from Luschvart Aviation Megastore before they arrived at Hannants. On the sprues it looks pretty good the odd bits had not been completly formed such as the control columns, bomb trolley towing bar and one edge of the Blue Danube. Build wise i've managed to assemble the airframe and it went together pretty well, the fit is no worse than the onther V-bomber kits although one wing required a bit of work in joining as the wheel well and intakes seemed to be too deep for the wing. Detail wise you get a nice upper cockpit tub detailed seperate wheel wells and all the vortex generato
  9. Hi Stewart Love the TSR.2 (The name as best we can determine was going to be Eagle BTW, but not officially announced by the time of Cancellation). Have you installed one of Grahams resin Equipment bays or created your own. Details of the bomb bay, pylons etc are available on a pair of CD-Roms that are available from Enigma Graphics or from BAE North West Heritage Unit. BTW Stewart are you in the UK, if so can you send us a PM. Cheers Geoff Baker TSR.2 SIG
