  1. At the very least me and you will atleast hear them inbound and outbound! Really hope the Flankers can make it to Waddington, the russian aircraft selection has been pretty limited in recent years after the withdrawl of the Ukranians.
  2. Suspect your thinking of the Heller C-160 Transall there.
  3. Just abit more on the Matchbox reboxes by Revell. The Revell kit is definately the Matchbox kit with additional ERA parts: http://www.ontheway.org.uk/reviews/RevellAG/T80prev.htm The Matchbox Lepoard 2A4 was indeed reboxed by Revell (and Monogram) and repackaged again with conversion parts later as a 2A5 apparently! The Matchbox Challenger was NOT reboxed by Revell who tooled a new much improved kit. There is ofcourse abit of a scale issues with these reboxes as they apparently 1/76, notably Revells later reboxing of matchbox's WWII range states this.
  4. Same here Nev, had been holding out for the Zvezda kit but still no news as to when it will finally be released, if at all!
  5. but why such an odd boxscale as 1/128? Why not just stop at 1/144 a more recognised scale where you can atleast put it into some sort of context/comparison with other models..and don't say they had alot of bigger boxes! Suspect it will be aimed more at the motorised lot rather than be built as a static.
  6. Strange, doesn't even get a mention of Bileks own website!
  7. Dragon actually moulded 3 different Su-24 version, so the addition or deletion of a weapons sprue could be in part attributed to that. I can't recall Italeri ever reboxing the Su-24, though it is quite plausable. I'm certain though that Bilek has never rebxoed it though, sure your not confusing it with the Su-22?
  8. Actually not entirely sure that is a true Revell kit, I believe it is the old Matchbox T-80 with the ERA updates to make a BV! I have both kits and they are basically the same basis. However the latest 1/72 Revell own armour is superb, though alittle fiddly at times because of some overengineering in parts, damned if you do damned if you don't sorta situation there! Great work mike, don't think you need to worry to much about the colour, it looks right to me.
  9. Actually the Zvezda/Revell kit is an old Dragon mould. Really nice to see one of these built, nice job
  10. I agree that there is minimumal if any external differences but I recall that there are a number of internal differences with the AN-74 notably allowing greater flexibility in the setup of the cargo hold and also I believe the flightdeck layout was altered. HTH
  11. I figured that there must be some photos of development J-10s with pilots but seems the J-10 test pilots are not posers! The only one I can find is this one taken after the first flight, which officially took place in 1998. Obviously not a definitive answer but the most plausable for a J-10 test pilot so far I would think, might be worth looking for photos of other Chinese prototypes to see what the modern chinese test pilot is wearing now a days! Oh and in all J-10 photos the pilots helmet is white! HTH
  12. Are you looking to do a current development/prototype aircraft or a slightly speculative in-service example?
  13. Ian, Hope these are of use to you: http://www.raf.mod.uk/falklands/vulcdet_index.html If your thinking of building your Vulcan within the next few months you might want to consider joining the ARC Falklands/Malvinas War Group Build
  14. Jon, I did actually actually meet you on Saturday for my complimentary book and bonus decals sheet and very happy I am with them too, thanks again. Good to meet you, even if you can't remember it
