  2. Haven't been here for quite some time already and glad to see that Gundam kits are picking up..... :D For the size of the Master Grade kits (aka MG), they are in the scale of 1/100 and typical height of the full-sized gundam, say the very first gundam RX-78-2, is 18m in height. So, 1/100 is 18cm (or 7.1 inch) in height. If you looking at the Nu-Gundam or Sazabi from the OVA Char's Counter Attack, they should measure about 22m to 23m or 22cm (8.7 inch) Of course, as model kit manufacturing technology advances everyday, the quality and the playability of MG kits increase tremendously. 6. Wow, Omega One. That's a great kit! I was planning to get the Minmay Guard version but now I reget i didn't get it when it comes out.... And I should be ashamed to call myself a 'modeller' as no output in the last couple of years....
  7. Some place dark and dry where I will forget in the years to come....
  8. The sales is that bad huh...? So, gundam is not Amercian's cup of tea....
  9. Well, then...I guess I need to buy the Platz decal for my 15J....
  10. Just to supplement Murph's comment, Hasegawa has two 1/72 Nighthawk kits with open weapon bay:- HA00086 w/ GBU Bomb HA00747 Skull Work Don't know about 1/72 Blackbird but Hasegawa shouldn't be bad Blackbird
  11. Thanks Albert. Really appreciate your clarification and you wonderful built has inspired me to buy the SOA Chinook. Cheers!
  12. Hi guys, I just built my interest in buying a 1/72 MH-47E SOA Chinook. I have read the Italeri built by Albert Moore but there is nothing on the Revell one except 'it is based on the Italeri kit'. So, are there any assembly part and decal difference between the Revell and Italeri kits? Or are they EXACTLY the same? I know the Italeri kit is cheaper though Thanks.
  13. I believe only the F-1 in JASDF 50th anniversary scheme is in blue color. All others are in the F-4 style camo.
  14. Hi Brian, Hope u have a good recovery and feel better than ever.
  15. I think the chopper they are flying now is the Merlin.
  16. No problem at all. Just a little contribution from the unique little place from the east. And I could never imagine the RAF put fighter planes in Hong Kong - maybe I'm not old enough to know <_<
  17. Hi Julien, Would this homepage be useful to you? It has 2 pics of the Wessex used in Hong Kong. Airliner.net also have 2: RAF Wessex 1, and 2 in Hong Kong HTH
  18. The paint job on the real plane has soft edges. But when you scale them down to 1/48 and 1/72, it might be just too hard to keep them..
  19. Hasegawa makes both 1/72 and 1/48. I believe the 1/48 is still available but not the 1/72.
  20. I know the machine is originally from the anime "Dougram" (at least, I think it was?), but I will *ALWAYS* think of this mech as the "Shadow Hawk" from Battletech (missing his shoulder-slung Autocannon 5, no less...). An excellent display! Indeed, it is. Here
  21. It is a mis-print at HLJ. You could check it out here Both Hasegawa and Fujimi have released a kit in this scheme
  22. 1/48 for the F4U and F6F, 1/72 for the F-4B and the F-14B
  23. Here is the decal sheet scan . Btw, the eagles for the VMFA-115's F-4B is in silver color
