  1. I had the chance to visit Diamond Lil again yesterday. Here's the album for reference. https://jbryan.smugmug.com/Airplanes/USAF/B-52D-Diamond-Lil
  2. I believe it's only on later models. I sanded it off for my stalled early 'Nam build.
  3. If you go to dvidshub.net and search Sgt. Matthew Romonoyske-Bean / U.S. Marine Corps you can the high rez photos from the article. Now, do I have a radar nose Harrier.
  4. It is on the stencil placement guide. The 185 is way out behind the engine with a really thin line pointing where it goes. I didn't see it at first, and I was looking for it. You can see it in the bottom left of this picture on a Black Widows jet.
  5. Diamond Lil as she currently sits:
  6. The only two I think that are worth building are Tamiya and Academy. and neither have it. The Tamiya 1/48 kit does include it, so you you would have a good reference to scale it down.
  7. Check out Tamiya's Laquer paint line. They have a couple of different shades available. They spray beautifully.
  8. Here's an example from a few years ago. https://jbryan.smugmug.com/Airplanes/Helicopters/AH64/
  9. It's beautiful out there. My daughter is a Cadet, so we have been out several times over the past year. I'd love to volunteer at the WWII Aviation museum.
  10. Diamond Lil as she currently sits. They had to lop off 30' off the wings as they found she still wanted to fly when the winds were right.
  11. I remember being out on Long Lake and having a pair of Phantoms come over at tree top. Never heard them until they were gone. A-10's were common, that Euro 1 camo disappeared when they flew in front of the mountains.
  12. Me too! I'd like to see Diamond Lil' as well. MiG killer.
  13. Nice. Would occasionally see one or two driving through up to the Adirondacks when I was a kid. Whose kit did you use?
  14. This is from last months show at Langley. B-52H.
  15. Saw her at Oceana last year. Some neat weathering on it.
