  1. Would a Micro Mark pounce wheel work? The wheel would save a bunch of time over the beading tool (from what it looks like.) I tried out that web-stie and I can't find information on how to order the tools that you have. My German is a little rusty  so I wasn't able to find out what I needed. If you find rivet pattern drawings make sure you post them here for the rest of your Flanker bretheren! thanks. chris
  2. Thanks for you help. Would thin strip of styrene fit between the HUD and the canopy? It would be nice to have a little definition under the canopy. What are the best tools out there available for doing the rivets? Thanks, Chris
  3. What color did you paint your intakes? How about the fit of the Aires coming under the Zacotcanopy? I'm going to be starting mine in the next few weeks and your (as well as other) thread(s) have bee very helpful. Thanks. Chris
  4. Chris, Will your intake set and the Aires wheel wells work together, or will I have to get out the razor saw? Also, do you recommend the FODs in position, or keeping the compressor faces visible. I do have the Eduard set with the FODs. Do you know if they fit in your intakes? I'm out of town and my wife received your shipment the other day. So, I thank your for processing my order so quickly. However, my wife doesn't share our enthusiasm when "airplane junk" comes in the mail, and didn't understand why I wanted her to open everything up and describe what was inside. Thanks, Chris
  5. I bought mine from Roll Models a few years ago. You essentially get some blocks of resin for the parts. I ended up sanding off the surface detail and laminating all of the surfaces with thin sheet styrene. I've been using Mike Grant instrument decals, sprue, punched out buttons and dials, and other styrene bits. It's pretty easy, and the way to go (I think). For the engines I glued in the old Verlinden brass photo-etching for the F-15 inside of the cans. A friend of mine cast them for me in resin and they look really good. It would be worth the effort to try to score some of the brass.
  6. Zactoman, I'm new to your forum and was interested in purchasing the intakes, nose, and canopy. Are the intakes finsihed yet? Your web-site says they are still in the process, but it seems like a few have made it out. I'm looking to blow some bucks, so please let me know how to do it. Thanks, Chris in Dallas
  7. Hey there, I'm new to this discussion board. I'm interested in dropping the slats and flaps on my 1/48 B-1. Where can I get my hands on some of the actual plans, or instructions on how to do it (if done already)?
