  5. Saw some pics on of a trip some guys made. A really cool E with SEA, lizard and grey (egypt) camo on it.....all very worn so itwas all mixed up.... Very very cool.looking
  6. No pics atm, but basically I cut a hole in the side of a large container, used some spare rubber profile to cover the edges and stuck the hose in there. Use double sided tape to hold the mould in place put the cover on and turn on the vac.
  7. With regards to the airbubbles... I have always used a tupperware container connected to a vacuumcleaner....always worked a treat.
  8. So happy.....I noticed the badly registered stars on some pics...nice to know you'll be doing a great job! Now I'll just have to finish the damn thing.....
  9. Is there a newsletter of some kind we can subscribe to? And please don't forget the 'combat tree' stencil that is supposed to be on the splitter! It's on none of the pics I could find, but both his -D and -E were thus equipped.
  10. so...how do we get Fightertown to do another run of 48014? I have two healthy kidney's!

  13. 3 months is good......will give the Xtracolour time to dry......
  14. Good news this, is it just for the E? I'm working on his D and don't mind waiting for a few weeks......any timescale?
  15. And think about it......all this could be 3d printed too!
  16. Ho, i'm checking my (self)engraved Hase F-4D, and notice some discrepancies with regards to the panel lines. which book /site has the most accurate line drawings? I have D&S and aerograph/fax books. tnx, Sudesh
  17. Wow...thanks guys! Nice shout on that phantom book...now I need one. How did I miss that usn seat on ejectionsite!?!?!
  18. Hi, anybody have a good colour shot of the top of an USAF phantom seat? I have found several walkarounds online, but they all seem to forget the top! tnx, Sudesh
  19. I'm assuming you're talking about your resin parts......I meant the plastic bits in the kit
  20. Thanks!, not knowing how the navy works I didn't know where to look, seems logical now I see it.... interesting that pinstripe on the ventral fins in that last pic, never noticed that. More questions from a total noob......how do the planes get to the harbor/quay?...is there an harbor airfield where the ships berth?
  21. That is usefull to know, any such list for the Hase kits?
  22. Thanks!, so nice and clean it is then. what are the panels that are regularly opened on a Tomcat? How long had they been on cruise when they arrived in theather? @Finn, certainly looks like Vietnam, I went to Hanoi and Ho-Chi-Minh city a few years ago for work, visited what was left of the Hanoi Hilton. remarkably little about the war in there, much more about the French colonial days/oppression
  23. Hi, I'm doing research for a future built.....it kinda blew my mind that a (then)starship like the Tomcat caught the tail end of the Vietnam war. Been googling for a few weeks now, and though I have found some pics not a lot seems available (probably not a lot of private stuff has been digitized) the base will be the wolfpack edition of the Hase 1/48 kit which is close, but is an all grey aircraft. so my questions: where to find the good stuff picture wise? how long were the Tomcats out there for, and how (non) weathered would they have been? As they flew CAP
