  1. Thanks Jim, Yes, that is the address we have been given. Cheers, Mark
  2. Thanks Jim, I appreciate your help, I'll pass the info onto my mate. Cheers, mark
  3. I'm trying to help a friend source some kits by this small Japanese company, but we have had no luck so far. Can anyone help please? Cheers, Mark
  4. The best 1/72 kit is by Octopus (a Pavla brand) but as a limited run kit needs some work: http://modelingmadness.com/scott/allies/previews/pavla/72025.htm Airfix's kit is I think a better basis than Lindberg's, but you will need a Falcon Vac-from canopy to fix its greatest weakness, Set No.1: US Navy World War II (part 1): http://www.falconmodels.co.nz/clearvax/set01.html AZ Model have announced their intention to release a new tool Kingfisher in 1/72 for early 2017 (see bottom post in linked page): http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/2349
  5. I’m making this announcement on behalf Czech Master Resin (CMR) at their request. The first two of five new 1/72 De Havilland Venom kit releases will be with distributors in March this year. These are the: Venom FB.1 - http://www.cmrmodels.co.uk/cmr-188/de-havi...-venom-fb1.html, and Venom FB.4 - http://www.cmrmodels.co.uk/cmr-189/de-havi...-venom-fb4.html Both kits are in CMR's "hi tech" format with Eduard coloured PE fret and pre-cut canopy mask, plus comprehensive decal options and photographic supplement. To see the artwork, instructions, PE fret, and colour schemes follow thes
  6. I want to build my Special Hobby kit of the D-558-I with the early-style canopy. I can see from some photos that there appears to be some kind of canopy support structure roughly in the centre of the blown canopy which is devoid of external framing. These look like two or three hoops supporting the canopy where it the front and rear parts join when closed. Can anyone please help with photos or diagrams of this structure please? TIA, Mark
  7. Any landing you can walk away from.......
  8. How about the Revell kit and Pavla Vc resin wing set?
  9. The Lee kit is a direct copy of Fujimi from using what seems to be a metal-spray a resin tool. Thanks for all the replies regarding Heller's kit, and sorry for "hijacking" the thread!
  10. I'm curious; is the Heller Hawkeye the Fujumi kit or their own? I've never heard of it before. Cheers, Mark
  11. MPM kitted the Ar 95 in 1:72 with both float and spatted wheeled undercarriage.
  12. I forgot about Revell, I think it's their own kit, I can vaguley remember it as a kid in the 1960's but haven't seen one in a long time.
  13. Now I think of it, the article I saw Scale Models Apr 86 was a conversion of the Aurora kit to an AC-119.
  14. For the he 115 Xtratech do quite a comprehensive PE set which provides good interior detail and some exterior fittings. Falcon do some superb vac-from canopies. Both are for the Matchbox kit. The PE set might also be suitable for the Frog/Revell kit. Airfix and Heller have both done a 1:72 Ar 196, the Heller item is a very nice kit (also reissued by Encore via Squadron at one stage). Eduard to a PE set for it I think, as does Airwaves which includes wing-fold details. Falcon do a vac-form canopy for the Heller kit. Italeri have kitted the Do 24, and Goffy Model doe some very comprehensive r
