  1. Thanks Heavy! One more thing I gotta add to the buy list lol.
  2. I'm about to start a pretty serious build of some vehicles from 2007-2010 Iraq, where did you find those MRE boxes??? Also the kit looks fantastic so far, following with interest! I will say this, I've never seen an Abrams with that weird rounded armor on it, all of our tanks had the traditional block reactive armor. The TUSK upgrade was prevalent though, nothing more intimidating than looking at the business end of a tank with a .50 and 120mm coaligned
  3. I've spent enough time in the back of these monsters, this looks just like the real thing. Great work!
  4. Every vehicle I saw overseas had green on it somewhere. Don't worry too much about the bustle rack, we usually kept them as empty as possible cause occasionally the kids would try and climb up on the vehicle to get your stuff. If we ever put anything in them it was cases of water or a cooler. That being said I'm a Bradley guy (though all my deployments were on trucks) but I did see quite a lot of tanks. I'll look through my pictures, but I don't remember there being much in the racks.
  5. Insanely detailed. Excited to watch the progress on this one!
  6. This'all be my first season duck hunting, but I started big game and turkey hunting in 2010. Expensive to get started but I plan on keeping my guns in the family for generations. Plus, for the last 13 months we haven't bought meat in a store. Last year was so successful I managed to feed a family of 4.
  7. Nice. We've got mostly wood ducks down here in SW Georgia, but the occasional mallard.
  8. Well your IP looks better than anything I've ever made, can't wait to see this bird come together!
  9. Awesome! Thanks for the info, I'll check it out. Who knows maybe this monster project will get some activity going here in the armor subs.
  10. Glad you're out of the hospital. Hope all is well.
  11. Fantastic build. I know the judges hate it, but there's something awesome about a filthy mismatched color piece of armor. Great job man.
  12. Looks great! Only recommendation would be to add a GoPro camera to the turret! In reality, it looks fantastic, great weathering and very cool subject.

What did you use for the mud? It looks great
  14. How big will the entire diorama be???? Growing up on the Space Coast I have a special affinity for the Shuttle, and watching your work has been a blast
  15. Looking great so far! I do not envy that sanding job up on the exhausts. Good luck!
  16. What kind of ducks? I just got my federal duck stamp yesterday, this will be my first season.
  17. Having been on Facebook since you needed a college email address (read: 2004) I like the idea of ARC hitting my feed there. However, the simplicity of the forums will never be replaced. There's no way to organize posts and what not. BUT you can "Like" someone's comments, which I've found myself trying to do repeatedly on the board.
  18. I went to Armorama, but their forum layout is so clustered it just drove me nuts. As far as reference material I have more than I could ever need, I'm building the trucks I deployed with. My 1114 that I got blown up in my first mission (all survived thankfully, but all have scars to show for it) I'm going to build it in its final state - with all the damage on it. My 1151 that replaced it, and the 1151 I used on my second deployment, and finally my M-ATV from AFG. I've saved all my patches and little things to remember my deployments (bloody top, shrapnel, AK bayonet) with t
  19. This may be a party foul, but I'm about to start a VERY long (and very expensive) project, but it's all vehicles (M-1114, 2 M-1151's and an M-ATV) and ARC's armor board is not exactly the life of the party, and suggestions for where to get some company and guidance?
