  8. I’d thought I’d better post my Tamiya F-14A before the year ends. I completed this kit this past summer. It’s modeled to represent a F-14A Tomcat from VF-201 Strkfitron based at JRB CARSWELL, circa 1999. The kit was built out of the box. To paint this kit I used Mr. Color, Gunze, Model Master, Tamiya, and Vallejo paints. The decals used for this livery were an old Aeromaster Special Edition IPMS/USA 2000 Dallas, Tx Nationals sheet. The Pilot and RIO arm patches were from Furball. I was very surprised that the big cat placed 3rd at this year’s Nationals in San Mar

  13. For any reason you’re not able to find a good Yellow Zinc Chromate you may consider Tamiya XF-4 YELLOW GREEN as a possible substitute. I’m NOT saying this is the correct correct color, however it agin may prove useful as a close match in a pinch. Good luck on your search and build. Hopefully you will fine the Yellow Zinc Chromate.   21. Dann, Thanks for you for sharing your experience/ update on the True North Paint. TNP I’ve spread the gospel to some others that have purchased the paint and are having difficulty with there thinner of choice reacting with the TNP. The Orderless Mineral Spirits seems to be the best option for this brand. Mr.Happy
