the original "Wolf Pack" markings for the 1/48 F-14A from Hasegawa had this tail. I belive that all boxings of at least the "A" models should have them

windex will work as well. Just takes a little longet than the ammonia. Also works for just about any acrilic paint

Since there are restrictions due to th epylons I am assuming that it can't carry 2,000lb LGB? Where is a Tomcat when you need one??? :(

I have the flightpath set and it looks great (and worth the money) but I am scared of it! There is a lot of PE on there. Also if you are doing a modern jet you might want to look at this http://www.shull24.com/ Goto products and look at the A-10 airframe upgrade set. Nice stuff and a great price

To be quite honest I really don't know if there is an issue with the cowl area. I was looking for the Moskit fishtail metal exausts and found them with the resin pieces for the mid section of the cowl area with the oil cooler for 5 bucks more and just went for it

good luck finding one at a fair price. I had been looking over the last 2 months and they were going for between 58 and 151! I finally found a non pro version of the 5A for 25, picked up the yellowhammer decals for a black cat & the Moskit cowl corection and fishtail exausts and still came out cheaper! Note the Belcher Bits tail is still available but I haven't decided if I am going to use it yet. Once I see the lit (it is in transet) I will decide
