  2. Hi all, As here in Israel we have problems to get Tamiya thinner (that I always used until now with excellent results), my question is qhat can I use as a replacement until it will be possible to found it again. I use only Tamiya acrylic paints. Thanks in advance Jose
  3. Hi I want to start learning how to use my new brand Badger 100LG I saw in a few videos that itsrecommended to no stop the air flow during the paint job, in order to gain control over the paint flow (practicing with the back and forward trigger motion). In this context I've found in another forum, a thread giving the idea of remove the air valve to achieve this "air-on" situation. What do you think about this? Is it a good idea? Any side effects? (in the Ab, compressor, etc) Thanks in advance Jose
  4. Hi all, so far, I couldn't find here (in Israel), a windows cleaner containing ammonia (at least it is not detailed in the components) How could the pure ammonia be diluted? What can be used as reducer and what ratio is good for clean acrylic paints from the AB? Thanks in advance Jose
  5. And this is the A/C terminated: As usual, comments and/or suggestions are more than welcome. Hope you like it. Best Regards Jose
  6. After this I've masked the strips (using the same technique as above) And sprayed flat black again Same technique was used to paint the letter on the flanks
  7. Hi All, Hi All, After finish my first Mirage Tiger Meet , I've decided to build another one, following the same principe, that means OOB and almost fully painted (with the exception of 4~5 decals). This time the aircraft choosen was the Mirage 2000C 12-ym from "L’Escadron de Chasse 1/12 Cambresis" presented at Albacete - Spain on 2006 The kit used was , again, the Italeri 1/48 Mirage 2000C. A nice one with recessed panel lines and an a more than acceptable fit. After closed, the aicraft was painted entirely white using the enamel Revell flat white After this, I've used the pictures
  8. go to the Tool's and Tips section in ARC and search for Pitot Tubes Regards Jose
  9. Hi OBD, when you take apart the AB, is the whole one(including tip, trigger, etc) or only the head and the needle? Mieral spirits don't harm the teflon? (I have a brand new Badger 100LG) Thanks
  10. Hi , I've just receive my first double action AB (Badger 100LG) and wanted to know what are the better paints to practice. I'll use it mainly for modeling pourposes but I want to practice first. The problem is that here , in Israel, is very hard to find paints ready for use with the AB. What about food coloring, could be used? and if yes, what could be used to clean the AB after used? Thanks in advance Jose
