  1. Easy answer on the SPAD dive brakes: ventral dive brake on USAF, and USN post-1958, is wired shut. Lateral dive brakes operational. Internal cowl flaps is a different matter. Some pics show them, some don't. Seems that they were removed in some later birds. In doubt, install them shut.
  2. Wow! Care to share with the Jolly Rogers History webpage?
  3. Buy an Hasegawa release with them, best way... and you get a "free" kit.
  4. I got your message. The site will be updated, don't know when... the Furies were FJ-3M, not FJ-2...
  5. An *early* F-5... nothing good whatsoever out there. The potential is huge.
  6. You won't believe the amount of new quality material I have to upload! Yes, Vought seats on VF-84 Crusaders.

  8. Bad intake profile (as per the Trumpeter) and a nose that looks like it went thru 20 years of heavy drinking and then got punched. True early Crusaders have a far more "delicate" nose. Google some pictures and you'll see what I mean.
  9. Worst thing the good guys at Fisher ever did... will not touch that one with a ten feet pole.
  10. Me like F-8s. Me does not like Trumpeter's F-8. F-8s need same treatment big chief Zactoman gave A-7s. Need it bad. Real bad. Ugh!

  12. Great work! Congratulations! E-mail me direct, I have a couple of new photos I'm sure you'd like to see. José
