  1. Another wet dream in 1/72 would be the release of an F4H-1 sheet, if only someone came out with a conversion.
  2. Something always struck me as odd when looking at an Italeri CH/MH-53E now I can clearly see what it is, it looks like an SUV on a too tall landing gear. It seems to me as there is too much ground clearance below the belly, that falsifies the ramp angle as well as what the external tanks appear to be like dirigibles. That is not to detract from a brilliant execution of your build including your correctly folded rotor.
  3. Not in 1/72 though, they and Cutting Edge missed the boat on those.
  4. There were plenty when I posted. I suggest you make the search and then save it.
  5. You can likely use the same CMK detail parts used fir the Academy kit, read it some where.
  6. Just ordered two RF-8A from SprueBros (Gs were out of stock) sprues are the same anyway and don't care much about the kits decals. Waiting to see what comes out of Austin.
  7. Brilliant, it may be close for association but since when are the Ruzzians using FS 595 for color coding?
  8. Looking forward to having a few Edwards black tail chevrons and a variety of FG-XXX (replace with your favorite number) finally available in 1/72.
  9. It seems to be the most detailed A-6 so far, flaps, slats, spoilers, folding wings. Has anyone checked on accuracy?
  10. Most of Trumpeters weapons are notoriously undersized.
  11. Fujimi only produced an early B prototype in 1/72
  12. Yep, I was actually just looking at those photos, I stand corrected.
  13. OK, here's a good question, there' some quoting confusion where Engine Grey is numbered x6076 rather than x6081, which one is correct? Also, IIRC only Sea Dragons were painted Engine Grey, the CHs wore mostly USMC colors.
  14. Definitely NOT mod Eagle, that's the original li/dak ghost grey scheme as the IDF Eagles have carried since day one, except the Ra'am F-15I. Also the Eagles in the photo show a mix of Sparrows AIM-7 and Amraams AIM-120. By the way that is not an AGM-142 but a Spice Gliding/ guidance kit bolted on a 2,000 lbs low drag bomb. Spice 2000
  15. What scale, single seater, two seater?
  16. Howdy folks, title says it all, question is which kit of Monogram, Revell (Monogram rebox?) or Airfix is better apt to represent the later prototypes with the revised nose landing gear? I understand that all of these kits are actually B-1As so not many other changes there, I hope. Carry on!
