  1. OK, I got the pictures but I need space to upload them.
  2. The sprues shots were already discussed on these forum pages in the Helicopter modeling section. One detail noted were the two main hubs showing parallel rotation rather than opposite, but other than that it seemed complete. Put me down for one of those babies!
  3. I have recently completed a very thorough walkaround of one of our S-61Ns, this one has Carson blades and is currently flying out of Galveston. If anyone has a website where they could be hosted, or if Steve wants to add them to the walkaround pages they are available as soon as I make it back home from Louisiana...in a couple of weeks.
  4. Thanks Mossieram, I have the Magnamodels conversion and I am adapting it to the RoG kit, that should save me the pain to use the white metal prop blades and some other parts from the conversion itself. I am making an Alitalia bird, and I have some decent pictures from the Flight refuelling Ltd. website; I found the same picture you are mentioning. That means I can keep the bomb bay doors closed. Thanks for your help. Roberto.
  5. Hi Ken, I can't afford the RVHP Tchaika, but I have the older Sanger vacuform, hence the great help I'd get from injection nacelles. Granted, they may not match the kit anyway.
  6. On the Lancastrian was the bombs bay just sealed or used for extra fuel tanks? If so were they refuelled with the bomb bay doors open? What were the interior cockpit colors? Any pictures? Thanks in advance.
  7. You can always utilize the last two turboprop nacelles for the Be-12, if you have one. The engines ought to be the same. If not I'll be interested in them. Roberto.

  9. Dave are you still going to make the 1/72 sheets as well?
  10. Ken, the bottom pictures, the ones of the USMC '37 are mine. I hope you like them.
  11. I have two. Ordered them from Hannants right after they were released and got them within ten days. They look nice and have details for both USMC and US ARMY variants, however the interior is bare and the clamshell doors, while clear totally lack any detail shown when open. By the way, has anyone noticed that the fron ramp actually drops part of the forward lower fuselage? It's going to require some cutting and building.
  12. Cheyenne, do you what dash version of the PT6 is going to replace the T-58s?
  13. On the F-14A with the TF-30s, the engine nozzles ALWAYS shut down in different configurations, check all the pictures you can find. One nozzle shall be closed, one shall be open, it has something to do with hydraulic pressure bleeding.
  14. I am in! Too many to count on my mind........CH-37, EH-101, MH-53E, SH-3D..............
  15. 1/72 Zvezda Mi-26 Amodel Mi-6 late model Mi-10 (K) V-12 (Mi-12) Amonster series with fuselage in fiberglass, sprues have been published already. 1/48 Who knows? Except for a bunch of trumpeter stuff and the Italeri EH-101.
  16. CH-37 is HERE, two of them Upon a first look at the sprues, it seems that the MPM group has not given the Mojave the complete treatment it deserved, however I still recommend everyone to get at least one of these babies. Not so good points, the photoetching is not to the standards that we've been used to, the cockpit and cabin details are very simplified. The auxiliary fuel tanks are WAAAYYY oversized and completely unusable (what were they thinking?), best replacement being the 1/72 Monogram F8F and F7F auxiliary tanks. NONE of the extensive grilles on the engine nacelles is offered in p
  17. The sprues pictures seemed to be complete, when is the release date?
  18. Go here for the pictures. Even though the decals are for the ARMY a/c only, the sprues include both types of stabilizers. http://www.matusek.cz/web/view.php?cisloclanku=2007100005
  19. Isn't it a beautiful thing? And a great picture to match. I had never noticed the camouflaged blades before.
  20. I do believe that CHC is currently running HM SAR for the British Isles, they use S-92s and AW-139s. Search and Rescue CHC will deploy the Sikorsky S-92 and the Agusta Bell AB139 in connection with the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA) SAR contract announced December 12, 2005. CHC will operate two S-92s at Stornoway and two S-92s at Sumburgh, plus two AB139s based at Lee-on-Solent and an additional AB139 at Portland. The introduction of the S-92 and the AB139 will mean an increase in the Coastguard's operating range and speed, so that the time to arrive ‘on scene’ will be reduced. C
  21. Boy, winter in S. Texas, is that an oxymoron or what!! Hey, I've got banana trees with bananas on 'em here in San Antonio, you really don't want to ruin my crop, do ya' now? Back to the great pictures, who owns those 412s?
  22. So do the Mi-26 and the C-130. :D What the initial requirement was for, it was for the HH-60 replacement not a heavy lift helicopter.
  23. To be more precise, short term memory goes first Next is short term memory But then, the first to go is short term memory...........................
