  1. There is no mention of the C-17 on their Facebook page, just a portrait of a box art from their display at a modelling show.
  2. It's definitely undersized, sort of like the Trumpeter's 1/72 AGM-78s.
  3. That Phoenix seems a bit undersized, could it be just me.
  4. I don't mean to sound "Karenish" but there are several of us that care less about scales different from what you build or into which you are interested. How difficult can it be to insert 1/48 or 1/72 or 1/32 in the thread header?
  5. Ya' know, it be nice to tag the scale before someone reads through all the chaff.
  6. Likely, also hope they include the reactivated stations 1 and 9 pylons.
  7. That's not her F-18.😄 Just kidding, thank you for adding another great product to your lineup.
  8. The USAF is going to have 144 or more F-15EX fighters vs 24(?) for singapore? Different customer base.
  9. What about a full F-15EX conversion, including the renewed station pylons 1 and 9.
  10. I stand corrected, I had confused the Platz kit with the Italeri's rebox by Tamiya.
  11. The Platz kit is actually a rebox of the Italeri/Testors kit and not the Dragon kit. I agree the Testors kit is the least inaccurate of the two and hence it commands higher prices on eBay. Perhaps Hobby Boss could scale down their 1/48 kit.
  12. The upper blue chosen does not seem to be realistic, even on the actual airplane.
  13. Getting back to the F/A-8E/F/G, I wonder if the NAVY/MARINES reason to remove the CFTs from the Block III upgrade was because they would interfere with those aerodynamic surfaces over the LERXes.
  14. The A-4, F-4, F-14 and F-111 all have separate spoilers and airbrakes. However, like in most high performance aircraft, the spoilers can be used asymmetrically to assist in turns. Also, the A-4's flaps had the peculiarity of being split, having the secondary function of dive brakes as in older design from Ed Heinemann (Dauntless comes to memory).
  15. Excellent summary, thank you.
  16. Getting old sucks. I seem to remember a pinned thread about all the different F-86 wings variants buI cannot longer find it. You know, the base slatted, the F hard wing then the 6-3, the F-40… What wing did the D, K and L use… Can anyone younger remember where the thread is? Thanks y’all.
  17. Please do not release these in 1/72. Being sarcastic.
  18. The sprues are identical. In any case you would be missing the “R2D2” dome behind the cockpit.
  19. I am jumpin in to ask whether 500 lbs GBUs where ever carried on a TER on the outboard pylons.
