Im still here! Been really busy with moving for college and all that but VF-301 should be out in the mail by tomorrow!
-
Yep it was Dozer, and man did he put on a show! Heres a little teaser
-
Very nice! BTW, you have a bit of dust on your sensor. You should give it a clean when you get the time.
-
Im going down from NYC via Greyhound bus. Sucks that its in the middle of the week though.

IRC, the F-14 had a catastrophic seperation of turbine/compressor blades(big BOOM) in the engine(s) while performing a supersonic pass. Both crew got out fine though.

I say BANNAGE ! -
It would !?! Didn't look like there were too many differences...just mainly an E on the bomb felix the cat is holding and some crewnames and assorted awards on the tail....
-
How bout the possibilty of a little insert sheet down the line that one can purchase to model 100 and 101 from the timeframe my pic was from? If its possible it would be awesome!
-
Hmm Brian, don't wanna spoil the fun, but I think you missed a spot.... Notice how felix the cat has red eyes on the drop tank... :D This is 101 btw. Hmm nevermind, it looks like my pic is of 101 at a later time frame....

Awesome pics! What lens do you have on the 30D? Is it a "L" lens?

Wow I love that F-2. The photos hosted by photohighway.co.jp are down/blocked. http://www.as-net2.org/usr/img-b/sr3_bbss/...ayen/2893_1.jpg and http://bbs2.fc2.com/bbs/img/_17700/17700/f..._1154263855.jpg both work.

IIRC SOP for F-14s is shutting one engine down, and then the other. With TF30s, one would stay open and one would stay stay closed because hydraulics would bleed out. The F-110 nozzles however are affected by gravity so right after shutdown, one might be open and the other might be closed, but they will slowly open over time.
