Me too. I provided the refs on the Boss Bird, so I'll be building it. But, I'm not going to build it as I saw it...more like one of the full-up test birds. CFT's, nav pod, TigerEyes and Sniper pod, the works!

Ps. Are you hitting Kingsley in July?

    Hey Aaron,

    yep I’ll be there!

Nice! Great looking jets! Is that one of "my" Eagles you are working on?

I'm slowly plugging away at the 1/48 Tamiya F-4B. Hoping to have it done by April 25th. The IPMS Seattle spring show is the 26th and I want to actually enter something this year.

We'll have to exchange info before Sentry Eagle so we can meet up.

Absolutely….let’s touch base!  Are you staying in Klamath Falls or are you in and out?

  3. Hey Aaron,

Glad to help!  I’m building twin GWH F-15C’s wearing Shark Mouth markings from Speed Hunter for each Eagle unit in Oregon!  Almost have them done!  A lot of aftermarket on each kit!  And will be building General Old’s F-4C after I’m done with the Eagles!  There were a lot of modifications to his Phantom that I didn’t know about!  And yes I will be at Sentry Eagle this year!  Wouldn’t miss it as it’s probably the last year for the Eagles!

If you were very desperate you could buy the Academy F-4c, keep the decals and sell the kit.

I thought about it, but after reading and researching Olds’ jet, the markings that are in the Academy kit aren’t 100% accurate! So I’ll be using the fundekals sheet for the markings and the ZM F-4C for the kit!

    Thanks ,

Oh, my bad.  My eyes ain't what they used to be.  For 1:48 scale try Fox One, IPMS USA 1997 Nationals, or fundekals. I don't have any of these, but would venture that the fundekals would be your best bet.

You definitely pointed me in the right direction Dutch!  Just placed a notification in the buy/sell section for the fundekals set!  Not sure how hard they are going to be to find, but we will find out!  Thanks for your help!
