  1. Thanks Steve, and I’m with you on the exhaust nozzles…….I’m to use to seeing PW’s back there!
  2. Started the final assembly on the EX today….landing gear with TBF flags and LG doors are on. Installed the HUD and Ejection seats! Horizontal Stabs and engine nozzles are on and finished off with the Sniper Pod. Still have the weapons, -21 equipment canopy and a ton more RBF flags to go! starting to look like an Eagle! Thanks for looking, Brad.
  3. Short update on the EX……Caracal decals are on and performed beautifully! Just a special note…the unit badges and Pilot names and framework around the names were my design and are not part of the Caracal decal sheet! Another clear cote and dull cote applied to seal the markings. That’s it for now! Brad
  4. Little update on the F-15EX…..it was brought to my attention that the camo I painted on my EX was incorrect……so after doing some research the guy that let me know was 100% correct. The FS36176, which is the darker of the two colors on MOD Eagle paint schemes, should not have been painted on the ailerons, flaps or rudders, so I corrected the paint and re cleared and started to apply the decals. That’s it for now, thanks for looking. Brad
  5. Sure thing Arnaud! Please let me know if it helps!
  6. I agree with you 100% Matt! Good luck with the MRP!
  7. Hi Arnaud, I reduced the pressure on my compressor to between 10-12 psi and applied several light coats. Haven’t had an issue with it being hot yet, but I can see where it could be if you applied it to heavy!
  8. Just a small update on the EX……..model is all glossed up and ready to decal………and speaking of decals, I’ll be using the excellent sheet for the EX from Caracal, but I’m going to go a step farther……after 001 made it to Elgin, they added full color Air Force Material Command shields to the vertical stabs. I sourced these shields from another Caracal sheet. I then found the Eagle’s Head frame where the crew names are on the nose of the aircraft on the “Bullseye Emerald Coast Eagles” sheet. I will have to replace the crews names and was able to find them on some images on the internet and produ
  9. Finally got to lay down some paint on the EX. Using MRP paints on the build for the first time, and have to say that I love this line of paint! That’s it for now, thanks for looking, Brad
