Plastic models, mostly aircraft but armour as well. I also enjoy cycling, marksmanship, reading and watching movies.
  1. 1:24 Hawker Typhoon MkIb WingCmd JR Baldwin "JB II'

    Gorgeous; who doesn't love Typhoon's.
  2. The display case...eh (sorry..had to do it!!!)

I saw your build at CAPCON, very nice in person; definitely a stand out on the table for me :)
  3. 1:48 SU33 Flanker Do by Kinetic

Goodness, love it. What a finish! As for Kinetic instructions, it seems to be their weak point; I've built a few and if I don't study them carefully I'll definitely miss something!
  4. F-15E Strike Eagle "Tiger Lead" Revell 1/48

Nicely done! Great photos too :)
  5. EA-18G Growler

This is fantastic! Love the results for the size.
  6. Thank you for the kind words! Yes, 1/32 is actually a really nice size for this particular aircraft and the Kinetic kit builds into a handsome model. The only areas that I had to pay a little extra attention to were the fit of the wing roots and around the intakes. Otherwise it's quite straight forward and the markings are nicely done. Highly recommend it for a Canadian collection :)
  7. Ah yes, I see. I have the 1/32 Revell kit in my stash, looking forward to building that one for a side by side comparison.
  8. Thank you Craig; and yes I agree, the dark blue and contrasting stencils really make this plane a stand out.
  9. 1:24 Hawker Typhhon MkIb MN666 'C G'

I've seen this build on FB; still gorgeous. I love the distinctive Typhoon.
  10. Really enjoyed building this kit; even with its challenges. It definitely pushed me to improve my filling/blending skills. The kit came with CMK seats when I purchased it. I replaced the exhaust (which came in two halves) with styrene tubing and added FOD covers. The MDC was made from shaped brass wire; no doubt a little thick for the scale but I don't find it takes away from the overall build.
  11. Whatcha gonna build?

Usually post on FB so I'm very new here. Alf convinced me to get in on this group build so here I am. I'm building something that has been in my stash a while: Kinetic's 1/48 F5B (CF116). Not sure what scheme I want to use yet, there are a few good ones to choose from.
  12. JASDF aggressor in 1/32 from the Revell kit

This is so sweet. Definitely need to get one of these kits!
  13. 1/48 Hasegawa A-4M Skyhawk, VMA-131 Diamondbacks, 1993

Love it. Makes me want to build a scooter.
  14. 1/32 Trumpeter EA-18G

    Very nice!
