Thanks, thats exactly what I was wondering. I guess drop in wasn't the right wording, but I've heard of too many aires sets that are just too big for where they have to go, and you have to grind them paper thin to get them in.. Looks like I will be lining up a set of these as well.

Thanks, I thought so, but wasn't sure. I have an Academy kit in the short stack, I don't know much about the airplane, but would like to make a reasonable attempt at the build. I have the BB cockpit, and CE decals for it. Steve

Thinking of getting a big Hornet underway. I have the kit, d-mold intakes, avionics pit. Was thinking of adding the aires wheel bays and burner cans to the build. How well do the wheel bays fit, are they a drop in replacement, or do they take a lot of hacking to get them in? Steve

I was hoping it was close to 1/72, but the 9" wingspan tipped me off. Sounds like it would fit in pretty well with a 1/144th collection of kits.

Yeah, it didn't go well. I did get in some kits, about a fourth of what I originally ordered, and when I got the invoice, I got drilled... I've been sorting through trying to see what I could fill on orders (not many) and sending out emails.... Steve
