I like that the E's skull and bones has a patch over one eye! I guess single seat compared to double

This is great, it looks like they finally started adding tail art to the operational aircraft. I will put this sheet on the front burner and assign a product number soon.
Great to hear! Now I can order a kit knowing that there will be something good to put on it.

Tenax Sniffer,
I forgot that ICM just released their 72nd kit not to long ago. Great Idea. I will try and get something available this weekend.
Best regards,
JS
That is great to hear! I have more 72 scale Bronco's that need the tanks than I do in 48th.

Awesome Jonathan! Order placed.
These are much needed! Any chance of getting these in 1/72?

I just dug out my old Paragon sets, I have both the A and the D ones and I don't have tanks in either one, so I don't know if it didn't include them or some sets didn't have them.

Reviving this old thread. I have both ICM 1/48 and 1/72 OV-10 kits and want to do a USAF plane. These kits do not include the USAF 230-gal tank either. Does anyone make these in either scale. I know Jim mention the old Paragon conversion had one, but I don't know if these have been done by anyone else, that would be available. If not, maybe we can get someone like Phase Hanger to do them in 48th or Air-Graphics in 72.
Thanks,
Ron

Cool! I like something besides the Thunderbirds. They had the South Dakota ANG fly over for the road course there a week ago with the heritage bird leading.

Unfortunately, I sold my house and moved into a townhouse with no room to cast. So, Steel Beach is no more. I really wish someone would make a 3D printed set. That would be great.
Thanks for the update Darren. I knew you had not put out anything new, but couldn't remember if you were busy with school and such. Hope you are still finding time to build though.

If memory serves me correct I believe Darren has stopped doing Steel Beach stuff.
That's what I was thinking as well, but couldn't recall for sure and I know Darren was pretty busy

I know this is an old thread, but wanted to see if you are doing anymore of these sets for the ERA Darren? I'm thinking about getting the Trumpeter kit, but wanted to check first.
Thanks,
Ron

I wish you could find these Kittyhawk kits! Hopefully it sounds like this company Storm Factory maybe picked up Kittyhawks molds with there release of the 1/32 F-5E/F and will release the UH-1N again. I didn't get in on those kits the first time.

I see these listed on Air-Graphics website, but out of stock currently. I think they are a new item from them, but am not sure.

The nice thing I find with them from a modeling perspective is that they a easier and go together quick. I usually don't get much modeling done in the summer months and when winter comes and I have time and it usually takes a bit to get my modeling mojo back up and running, a drone is a nice way to get back into it. They are quick and in a weekend or two you have a finished kit and ready to go on a bigger project.

The best alternative is to wait until April when I will release a dedicated 1/72 Dark Varks sheet.
That's awesome to hear that these will be coming along soon and it answers the question I asked in the 1/48 Dark Vark thread.
Thanks Kursad!

Hey Kursad! Is there any chance that this Dark Vark sheet will be scaled down soon? I would love to see it get done.
Thanks

Hoping for this in 72nd scale as well. The AA models offering a few years back was atrocious...
I just saw this on Aeroscale
https://aeroscale.net/news/mirage-ivp-with-asmp-missile-february-release
Is this a new kit or did A & A release one before. I'm not familiar with there stuff, are they not so great?

I too prefer to use my reference books while building. I usually grab my topic specific ones when I'm working and use those more than the internet. I like to go back through these older titles and look for aircraft I haven't seen in awhile. I hadn't gone back through some of these older Osprey titles in a bit and forgot how nice they are. Even just some of the old non-specific aircraft books from the 80's and 90's and how nice it is to see some of these lesser publicized aircraft.

Thanks Kursad! I was thinking of just using some 1/72 Azerbaijian decals, but even those are too big, so if you are ever looking to do a Basics sheet maybe the TB2 and the countries that are buying them would be a good sheet. Just saying.

So a few weeks back I pulled some old copies of some of these titles out and was looking through them again. I forgot how nice these books were and some of the excellent photos inside. It was a time capsule for seeing some of these retired planes or just older paint jobs and squadrons that are gone now. I was looking to see if I had any with Canadian CF-5's since I was thinking of starting on one. I didn't have the book that was about Cold Lake so I looked on eBay and found this one along with some of the older titles and some of them were only a few bucks. I picked up a few and just wanted to revisit how nice it is to go back through some of these old books and find things and pictures I had forgotten about.
Anyone else ever go back through any of your old book stash and run into something you forgot about or that inspired you to build something because of what you read or saw? It is easy to do searches online for things we are looking for, but it's amazing sometime what you find going back through the book stash sometimes.

Ron

Hey all, I just got the 1/48 Black Dog kit for the TB2...as a side question, does Black Dog have instruction somewhere online? I've got other sets from them and never have I seen instructions or parts breakdown. I can probably figure it out, but was just wondering.
My real question is about the actual drones. I will probably make a Ukrainian one, but was also thinking of doing an Azerbaijian one. My question is if anyone knows if there is different engine variants? It's hard to find pictures of an Azerbaijian one during the war with Armenia, but the pictures I have found show then with a three bladed prop. Where as the Ukrainian ones have a two bladed prop. I was trying to figure out if it's just the props that are different or if there is more too it.
Thanks for any assistance.

Has anybody tried or think it's possible for the extra windscreen piece to be grafted onto the Minicraft KC-135 kits?
I'm still waiting anxiously for my RC to show up any day now!

I know you said early Vikings, but any hope of getting this one done that was at the Andrew AFB show that we spoke about a few years ago?
