  1. Show goes on. Horizontal stabilizers are ready. Both folded and unfolded version are available. This are folded ones on pictures.
  2. Fantastic! I really like it! I have it also in my stash and I hope my will turn up half as good as yours (although in french markings)
  3. Several people already asked same questions about 1/72 and 1/48. Never say never, but for now, answer is no I'm afraid. It is not only problem of losing details. Set is measured to fit 1/35 MRC/Academy kit. There is no guarantees that would fit to Italeri 1/72, or 1/48 kits if it just scaled down. It would take some effort to adjust it to other kits/scales.
  4. Thanks Floyd, kind words from Kiowa expert like you are very motivating. In my first post is contact email so you can reach him directly, about how to buy, prices, business proposals, etc. I'm just helping and spreading gospel 🙂 Meanwhile, here is first test print of tail boom. Minor tweeks are needed, but in general I think it looks great (yes, wires too:-)) Although, this is late model version. I doubt that he has plans for early version for now.
  5. First, awesome OH-58. Punisher markings are one of my favorite! 👍 And second, thanks for advices. I agree with your comments about wiring (wire is better then 3D print), however 3D printed ones have one advantage. Connectors at the end, which you don't have with regular wire (you have to scratchbuild them). You can always cut 3D printed ones and replace them with real wire if you don't like them and just use connector ends. Another way to do it would be to just 3D print connectors as separate pieces to be combined with regular wire. I discussed similar approach with my friend regarding bu
  6. Hello everyone, I asked a friend of mine to design and 3D print few details to upgrade my Academy/Revell/MRC OH-58D kit in 1/35, and he went fully overboard with this project! Far beyond my wildest hopes. So, although I have no share in this venture (except being satisfied customer), I thought that here would be few people interested it his work. Beware, he is not a company (yet), just a one guy, located in Croatia Europe. For those interested in his work, here is his contact flyingfrog3d@gmail.com.
  7. Oh, wow, thanks! When I thought I have seen them all......
  8. Thanks Dutch! Yes, what you wrote is definitely most likely. I have seen 2-3 B&W photos of 116th FIS F-89D where wingtip tank/rocket launcher look very dark (black) with dark lightning (red?). I was just thinking since lightning on first picture looks light colored that maybe it could be yellow? 116th FIS emblem was ace of spade card with blue and yellow dagger, their F-86 and F-84G had yellow markings, so maybe there is a possibility of dark blue (Insignia blue) tail band with yellow outlined lightning?
  9. Hi, I need help identifying colors on F-89J from 116th FIS Washington Air National Guard from pictures attached (before ADC gray), specially tail area. I have theory based on 116th FIS markings on other aircraft, but I would like if somebody with more references/knowledge/memories can gave me their input.
  10. FCM Decals has 1/48 decals sheet FCM48044 that includes both gray A-4B and camuflaged A-4C from Malvinas war.
  11. I'm going to buy this sheet, the first second it becomes available! This sheet and the one for 1/48 F-89D/J, once you make it, will be even better sellers than B-58 sheet for sure!
  12. DarkKnight, I have no connection with Serbia or Serbian AF, however I do have several books about Yugoslav AF, including Mig-29 in YAF and SAF. so I have following to say regarding your questions: 1. Did Croatian Mig-21 and Yugoslav/Serbian Mig's (21 and 29) ever meet in combat? No. 2.GWH Mig-29 9-12 early boxing is fine because it includes all the parts for 9-12 late which you actually need (so 9-12 late boxing is ok too) 3. Looking at period photos I would say that by 1999 uniforms of Mig-29 pilots where camouflaged, not blue. 4. If engine is running
  13. Yugoslavia was first export country in Europe and second in world (India was first) to receive Mig-29. Both India and Yugoslavia received Mig-29B export version but those first Mig-29B versions were very similar to Soviet Mig-29's, and better then export Mig-29A's. In fact, there is rumor that USSR actualy tricked Yugoslavia, and that first batch of Mig-29 send to Yugoslavia were not new airframes, but used Soviet ones. I don't know if that is true, but there are some diferences between Yugoslav Mig-29's like absence of front wheel fod guard for example on first delivered batches. Fi
  14. I have Black Box cockpit and War Hud is there.
  15. You are not only one regarding F-89 for sure, both NMF and ADC There are enough old Revell kits still around, and decals in kit are useless. There is no aftermarket alternative for D/J/H option except old Repliscale if you find any on ebay for ridicules prices. And still there is no source for stencil... With all those ANG units, F-89 decal sheet look like job for Caracal.... My second great wish is Vietnam F-111A decal sheet in 1/48. We have Hobbyboss and Academy kits, but there is no aftermarket decals for them covering Vietnam deployment. There was Two bobs dec
