I'd like to see a side-by-side comparison. I don't doubt the Hobby Boss kit is inaccurate, but I'm curious to see just how much.

Actually...in this case...it turned out no modifications were needed so the 72nd version is a perfect scaled down version of the 48th.👍 To my surprise... It just so happened to work out fine.
Hey, I received your 1/72 B37s yesterday (I'm b*******d on eBay). They look great! You might consider selling the BDU-33s separately. They look good mounted on TERs.
If you are looking for additional ideas, take a look at this thread about the CBU-30 here on ARC.

Thank you. I appreciate the support. Give me a little to get back on this idea. I can give it a try. Sometimes I have downscaled items I thought were not possible and yielded some unexpected results. Trouble spots might be the tail ends on the Mk.76's and stabilizers on the rack itself which I would have to "beef" up in ways to make the parts producible. I probably might have to make some adjustments in CAD. Might not be 100% true to scale but would be close enough to pass in 72nd. I think this is generally known and accepted of any scale replica though so I can try. I will be back in touch.
I placed an order yesterday for your 1/72 scale version, so I'll be eager to see how you were able to downsize the print. Even if it's slightly overscale, I think it'll be fine.

Love what you're doing!
Any chance of seeing this in 1/72 scale? I know it would be quite small. 🔎

My F-4E suggestions:
FF 1st TFW
SJ 4th TFW
EG, ED 33rd TFW
MY 347th TFWWith the various paint schemes seen from the 1970s to the 1990s, these four wings alone could contribute to two or three sheets at least.

Another one here with the same issue.
I will be relocating to a new state this year, so my plan is to simply trash a number of my older builds that I'm no particularly proud of. I'm in my 50s, so reducing the clutter in my life is becoming a priority, too.

But, only in 1/48 scale. 😉

Great stuff there! I'll be ordering soon.

Well that's fun!

Nice! I'll be looking forward to it!

The French channel Chroniques du Blindage just uploaded a demo on YouTube that might be helpful.
From my experience with the pencils, what I don't like is that the ultimate effects are hard to see as you're applying the colors. I think it would take a lot of experience to know how much to apply. Based on my own preferences and skill set, I like artist oils much better.

When you called Sprue Brothers, were they able to offer any insight or suggestions?

I received mine today. Great looking prints!
Best of luck on your success. I'm eager to see what comes next.

Your best bet is posting to this forum here on ARC or periodically searching eBay. And if you're a Facebook user, join and post to the various buy & sell groups there.

In addition to this forum, eBay will always be a great resource. I've found pretty much everything I've wanted there. It may take months or years, but you'll find them.
