Which 1/72 Viggen resin update is more accurate?
doctorpepper replied to Horrido's topic in Jet Modeling
Rebell buys their sets from me, which were mastered by Hoops. looks like they may have just re-casted the casts that i sold them. not sure how i can enforce copyrights on those... but then again, each time you make a mold out of a previous cast and then recast it, you're gonna get about a 2-5% shrinkage. so for parts that are designed to fit closely, especially in 1/72, you might get some mis-fits and steps. we deliberately master our parts slightly oversize to take into account the shrinkage, but that still is no guarantee for success.. -

11th June 2014: Notice of Temporary(maybe) Closure Guys, your support for drpepperresins has been great. Come to think of it, i've now operated this small business for almost 10 years! how time flies. during that 10 years, we had constantly resisted the "price increase" monster and tried our best to stick to our principle of delivering you cheap and good resin accessories for your models. This was even despite the local currency depreciating against the USD by almost 30% (started out around 1 USD: 1.8, now it's 1USD : 1.25) , thanks to Uncle Ben. in that same period, prices of postage also

this is probably my first post in 200 days on this forum. please do shoot me an email again or a PM. i have been traveling a lot lately due to my work and not all the time i have had internet, and even less time at home to spend with the family or cast. that means that it takes about 3 to 5 days on average for reply from me. as you all know, each only has 24 hours a day and different priorities in life, especially with a one-man-operation that this is. service will be slower but i promise i will deliver (i hope all my customers are like me, who just buy off the web and keep it in storage for

You do mean the JFS right? the engine bay itself is going to be a monster to model, with the ADG attached and all the JFS, CSD/Main Gen, Standby Gen, SYS A and B pumps, HSM... Do remember that the hydraulic reservoirs are of different sizes, left and right. Also, not often that the EPU is exposed. Sometimes the H70 tank, but more often than not, that area is left untouched. Got to also check the particular tail's S/N. i kinda recall someone telling me that USAF birds are being modded to OBOGS, and thus wouldn't have the LOX tank finally, why not drop the horizontal stabiliser ISA panels?

at luckymodel's 7th anniversary sale: http://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?depar...alog_no=LUCKYAI Notice a 1/32 Eurofighter Typhoon is cheaper than a VERY old tool 1/48 Hasegawa F-14A..
-
Oh man... i can't wait to see your work to build a rudder ISA.. could you share with us what other panels are you going to pose as opened? #4401 and #4402 are common panels that are opened. if you could tackle the ECS package and the engine bay.. !!!

Have you tried the Burner 09 irons? They've got some promo going on that with a purchase of those at 699.99, you'll get $100 off any taylormade item. So you can get an iron set and a driver under 900 bucks. plus, the burner 09 irons are sweet to hit.. -

FWIW Trumpter releasing 1/32 F-22 this year

OH YEAH UP TOP -
the aircraft's MTOW is 52000lbs. that would probably be full internals (accounting for the smaller F1 fuel tank due to the D config) and the CFTs, with empty 600s. once in the air, get a top off. at 52000lbs.. the jet would take off like a fat.. PIG

the Wing Weapon Pylon can be carried on STA 3/7 and also 4/6. With the carriage of the WWP on 4/6 in place of the 370/600G tanks, a large store can be carried. for the F-16I, the carriage of CFTs helps to negate the absence of the wing fuel tanks. and also btw, the 370G tanks and pylons are a single piece (they are mated in the backshop) and are jettisoned together. the 600G tanks however, jettison separately from the pylon - the pylon cannot be jettisoned.

i believe the "ball" and the aft mount on sta 4/6 are supposed to be removed prior to flight..

but drpepperresins does..
