I should have mentioned that I use a scalpel too. The weight of the scalpel will be enough to cut the BMF.

Has anyone built this kit yet? I've heard it's very nice.

For canopy masking I use Bare Metal Foil, it's so thin that every detail shows up and also you don't get a build up of paint next to an edge. I like Eduard masks but sometimes it's difficult to find the mask I want and it takes some time ordering them.

Thanks, I figured it was something like that. The box shows Canuk/Hobbycraft but I couldn't find much out, couldn't find any reviews.

Has anyone built the Canuk Models CF-188 1/72 scale? Just wondering how the kit is or should I stick with Academy or Hasegawa?

Have you tried vacuuming the cat?

Try Drillbitsunlimited.com. They have every size you could ever want. I use them a lot on WW! aircraft for drilling holes for rigging turnbuckles. They are very sharp (don't ask how I know) and like all carbide bits, very brittle.

How do you get to Carnegy Hall? practice, practice, practice Reading posts on forums like this one really helps answer a lot of questions.

Uh oh, looks like I'll have to cancel my order with Canuk.

Thanks, that what I suspected.

Hi, Anyone have an opinion on the Minicraft 1/72 scale f/a 18 C/F18 kit?

Yes it is.

You'll need to let the enamel dry very well, about two weeks or so and sand it before applying the acrylic. Or.....remove the enamel and start over.

Do what I do.........smack myself in the forehead and make an obscene comment. I once knocked over a full bottle of liquid cement on a sheet of decals. And that's not all the stupid things I've done. Anyone who builds models has had one or more of "those" moments.

This has probably already been answered but I'm new here and not sure where to look for an answer. What is the color of the Mig 21 interior. I know it's kind of bluish green but is there a brand of paint or mix ratio which would work?
