  1. Saw these two at the Elmira NY (KELM) airport in 2006. I don't remember their schedule but it seems they went to Boston, Binghampton, and I think Orlando Fla. Not sure if they are still operating or not though.
  2. What! No brake lines on the landing gear? My eyes don't see that good anymore. OUTSTANDING JOB! Regards, Brian
  3. I thought you might get a kick out this ad from the back of a comic book. My how prices have changed Regards, Brian
  4. And then they paid some old race car driver's team to have their logo spread all over the car and made commercials (guy never did win any did he while wearing UP* colors). How much did they pay out? And they don't want people building model airplanes, to have their logo on a model displayed almost like a permanent advertisement. Talk about stupid! Regards, Brian
  5. I've got one of the 777's from Minicraft. It's one of the What if's, but it is a 777. Haven't deceided what to build it of yet. I might do a what if Piedmont version whenever I get around to it. Lot of other things happening right now. Regards, Brian
  6. Thanks I needed that!! The Capt at the end sums it all up perfectly!
  7. I also built one of these a few years ago for the Airliners Group Build here in this forum in Mohawk colors (had to make my own decals as the old ones weren't instock). I still have an unbuilt one that will be done in the US Air colors when I get the chance. Don't know about the nose but the wing fence really needs to be moved to it's proper place. Nice little kit, enjoy it and good luck. Regards, Brian
  8. Thanks, here is a side view. I don't think that Revell did anything but add a new instruction sheet and decals for this kit. The fit was not very good and I don't like to use body filler. Regards, Brian
  9. I've only seen 1 other posting of a Ford Tri-Motor here so I figured it was about time to add to the pile. This one has historical and family ties as the pilot is a relative of mine. The kit came with the proper decal set for the Rapid Air Lines aircraft. Although not accurate and with my Great Uncle's name not spelled right. The decal set has CLYDE W. CP and not the proper CLYDE W. ICE. My reference family photos also have some added lines of text under his name (LICENSED PILOT 1598). What a hoot to find this kit on the shelves at Hobby Lobby and a few other hobby shops. It is a reissue of th
  10. Is this where all the passengers had to get out and push?
  11. So that's why I paid $43 for the PSA777 kit and $15 for the AA757. I see said the blind man. Regards, Brian
  12. I just spent the last couple of hours reading this thread and I am stunned, awed, and just plain blown away. The video of the engine start and shutdown brought tears to my eyes. You are NOT mad or crazy just an extreamely gifted master craftsman. I am eagerly awaiting the rest of the build. Thank you for allowing us to watch over your shoulder. Humble Regards, Brian
  13. PolarLights/Playing Mantis didn't go ****up they were bought out by RC2. RC2 hasn't seen fit to reissue the plastic model line, Jupiter 2/Lost in Space and various other figure type models with the exception of the Star Trek kits. I got the Robbie kit at a local hobby store a year or so ago for $19.99. It's still wrapped in plastic and on my to be built shelf. Regards, Brian
  14. Are these the ones you are looking for? Regards, Brian
  15. You could scale the runway smaller so that the AC lookes higher. Give it a different perspective. Happy modeling and post pics of your progress. Brian
