Tamiya New Tool 1/48 Spitfire I?

Come on Tamiya, make a 1/24 of this. Who could afford it though?

    Airfix's BIG news from Telford...

Airfix will never venture into 1/32 though.

paint problems - - - tamiya on airfix

I always give the plastic a wash in mild detergent before building. I only use Tamiya spray cans, and have never had a problem.

"Special Night" black on Spitfire Mk Vb

I built this same scheme, and the best fit I found was Tamiya's Nato Black, with some shading/fading on some panels. I created some contrast with pure matt black for the props etc.

Wingnut Wings is doing a Lancaster!

Too expensive, I will rather get the HKM one, but even that is stretching my budget to the extreme.

    CO2 tank regulator help

Tim, that red disc looks like a dust plug, for when you remove the connector valve from the regulator. We have similar on some of our scuba tanks. when they go into storage. Of course, I might be making a total idiot of myself.

Your choice for a rattle can gloss coat?

Exactly this. And when the final coat is dry, it takes very well to a polish if you want a higher gloss.

Your choice for a rattle can gloss coat?

I have never had issue with the Tamiya eating decals. The key is several light coats. Dont go in heavy.
