  1. Do people generally paint the parts first (wings/tails/engines) and then assemble, or assemble the entire jet first and then paint?
  2. Thanks Don. Great advice. I'm pretty much exclusively into the airliner builds. I currently fly the A320 for a living and would eventually like to get good enough to build an exceptional A320 for my office. The kits I found in the basement are: Old Revell 767-300 in AA colors MD-80 in AA 757 in AA Looks like I used some chrome paint initially. It's pretty bad! Looking forward to the challenge of salvaging!
  3. Newbie here - I just went through my parents' basement and found a bunch of old 1/2 assembled airliner kits I made when I was a kid. I'd love to do a refresh of the kits I have and make them somewhat presentable (need to peel old decals, strip and repaint, fill gaps, etc). My plan will be to assemble them, paint over with a primer and then repaint, add some decals and weathering, and then see where it takes me. I know I should probably get an airbrush, some sandpaper, some filling putty, primer, some aluminum paint (American Airlines fuselage), glue, some paints for th
