  1. @Milo I appreciate that. I am ordering them in a couple of weeks.
  2. @ElectroSoldier Correct, I am looking for the 1//144 scale KC-135 edition.
  3. Howdy y'all; So I was wondering if anyone has the decals from WolfPak called Dancing in the dark. I am looking for the KC-135 as I put gas on her, and it's part of a Diorama I am building. I was wondering if anyone would like to part with them. I was going to buy it, but with Mark's passing and the family not doing anything with the business, I can't have anything send to me and even Ebay isn't carrying it.

  5. I disagree, the USMC is going back to what it was designed for. We won't be going back into Afghanistan or any of those other Stans for a while, Iraq is for the most part over one. China is the biggest threat the US has now.
  6. Yeah I would be a little bit irratated as well if that were to happen.
  7. Awesome thanks 🙂 Do you know how hard I looked for this? Though I would rather have one with Spooky 50, this one will work. I might have to talk to Mark to see if he can make a special one with Spooky 50.
  8. No, their is a reason for this run. It's psychological. https://www.cnbc.com/2020/03/11/heres-why-people-are-panic-buying-and-stockpiling-toilet-paper.html
  9. So while we are on the C-135's here, any one know where I can get the Decals for a FairChild AFB KC-135?
  10. I have 2 months of Baby Wipes, and followed by 2 extra months of toilet paper. I also have 3 months of baby wipes in my GOD bag, though if I have to break into that supply well let's just say the seal on other stuff is going to be broken.
  11. So I am at the point on that Academy F-15 where I am painting the heat shields on the bottom and the top, but it seems to bright, I was thinking about using some of Vallejo's Transparent smoke and Transparent blue to make the heat shields there look like they have been not burnt, but exposed to the heat of the engines. Any thoughts?
  12. Ahhhh, I was POL, ya know the people that give y'all the go juice :P
  13. I agree, I mean I haven't really worked on a model in some years, I remember the basics, but where the flashing is, as well as having the dimples in the intakes, as well as having the speed brake only available in the up position really turned me off.
  14. For me it was engine intakes. The flashing there made it a pain in the fool, as well as this may be me, but the speed brake, I wanted it in the down position.
  15. It only came with CA and OR ANG decals.
  16. So I started doing this a few months ago, and honestly after three purchases later (I really don't like this model but I refuse to make it a shelf queen).
  17. So just curious, when is that y'all give up on a model that went south. I am currently working on the Academy F-15 in 1/72, and it went south damn quick, so I figured meh it was just me, so I went out and bought a duplicate thinking hey I can replace the parts didn't work out that maybe they fixed the molds upon the new release, nope, same problems, things didn't fit, they were off, so at what point do y'all just say screw it and say nope, I am done.
  18. You could also get one of those portable paint booths on Amazon.
  19. https://www.sunwardhobbies.ca/styrene-tack-jmd-plastics-hobby/ I know HobbyTown carries it. I was just at my local one to pick up something and they had a whole passle of it.
  20. My $.02 the Artograph would be the better choice the reason being is that fumes are heavier than air, and the Artograph has the fan at the bottom. Why not use the properties of what you are sucking out to work with you than against you.
  21. So quick question has anyone here used Vallejo Surface Primer, and if so have you had any problems with it. I don't know if I got a bad batch or not, but it's almost watery and applying spotichily is the best way to describe it. I have thinned it down, and not change, though it's funny some times it applies beautifully other times it's enough to pull my hair out.
  22. Personally I use one from Harbor Freight. I upgraded it to the digital regulator and I have not had any problems https://www.harborfreight.com/air-tools/air-tool-accessories/38-in-air-filter-with-regulator-68232.html https://www.harborfreight.com/air-tools/air-tool-accessories/digital-air-flow-regulator-68245.html
